Interior- Stock interior, Not much exciting here.

I bought this car in 2007 90% done. The only thing I have had to complete was the engine management portion. Since the car was completed it has only had roughly 10,000 miles put on it. I have had the car in several car shows locally and have won a best of show in a muscle car class. The car presents very well,  drives very well, and is quite quick. It is, however, not a Barrett- Jackson car or a race car. With that said here is the bad.

-Minor flaws in the paint mainly on the front and rear bumpers as it was painted in garage not a booth. The radio does not work. I have never looked into this as I didn't drive the car often enough to care about radio. The A.C. was never charged so it also doesn't work, compressor does. The driver seat has a small rip from 23 years of exiting and entering the car, The tires have a vibration above 70. I think they may be flat spotted from sitting. The fuel pressure gauge reads max pressure all the time even if the car is off and the gauge is removed.

This car you can tell by the description is wicked fast, they are out there better, faster, but not at this price. Email me for any questions, or more info at: mblyle@mchsi.com, Thanks Mike

On Aug-13-13 at 16:10:48 PDT, seller added the following information:

Looking at my pictures, they don't do the car justice. The paint looks like generic red, but it actually is the 93 Cobra red. It has a little bit of an orange tint. The car really pops in the sun. I stated earlier it was garage painted, that sounds bad, but it actually has a pretty presentable paint job. Bumpers do have some flaws. Don't expect best of show for paint, but you won't be embarrassed either. The car beat out some really nice cars for the trophy I won.

The under hood shots also look a little dingy. My camera usually takes great pictures, but for some reason they look a little lame, don't know why, they just didn't transfer well. The under hood looks very nice, not perfect, but detailed well.

All said, Every time I drive it, I get a ton of looks. Not to mention it backs it up with the way it runs.

2015 Ford Mustang prototype spotted on the street

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Our trusty spy photographers have snapped the first photos of the 2015 Ford Mustang prototype out on public streets. With nearly every square inch of the machine covered in heavy camouflage, it's difficult to discern details, but we can see smallish horizontal headlamps at work in the coupe's nose. Ford has made it clear that modern lighting technology will allow the company to get away from large, expensive headlamp arrays in the near future, and the 2015 Mustang may very well be the first of the automaker's products to bow with the new tech. The philosophy was first displayed on the very attractive Evos Concept.
The extensive cladding doesn't extend all the way to the prototype's rockers in the instance, giving us a look at the heavily-sculpted sills. Overall, this test car looks considerably smaller than the current generation Mustang, and elements like a short front overhang and beefy dual-piston calipers give us plenty of hope for the future model. Of course, reports that the 2015 Mustang will bow with an independent rear suspension and EcoBoost power certainly don't hurt our feelings, either.

Oprah at it again, gives car away on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Sat, 17 Aug 2013

Oprah Winfrey loves giving away cars. Not only has she given Pontiac G6 sedans and Volkswagen Beetle retro-mobiles to everyone in the audience of her past show, but the other night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! she gave another car away to one lucky audience member, while yelling her now-famous line: "You get a car!"
Although the acting of Oprah and Jimmy Kimmel was obviously staged for this giveaway, the reaction from the woman in the audience was genuine shock as she found out that she had just won a new Ford Fusion Energi. Congrats!
Not to take away from what Oprah and Jimmy pulled off, but our cynical sides have to wonder if there isn't more than just a little coincidence that this giveaway took place on the same day that Ford announced a fuel economy reduction for the C-Max hybrid. You be the judge... Scroll down to watch the short clip from the episode.

2014 Roush Stage 3 Mustang

Fri, 26 Jul 2013

Up until now, it's been some years since I managed to get behind the wheel of the hot Mustangs tuned by the folks at Roush Performance. My memories of those vehicles are fond, as the Roush up-fits usually make for better-driving examples of the iconic Ford pony, with better-tuned suspensions, excellent short-shift kits and, of course, huge additions of power. The wake-your-neighbors aural characteristics of these cars have been nothing short of outstanding, too.
But in the years since my last experience with the Roush formula, Ford's own development team has churned out some pretty potent 'Stangs. We currently live in a world where the Blue Oval will sell you a Mustang with 662 horsepower from the factory, and the recently departed Boss 302 remains one of the best Mustangs - and best sports coupes - the Autoblog crew has ever driven.
So with great-driving and hugely powerful Mustangs coming straight off the line at Ford's Flat Rock Assembly Plant, does the Roush package still offer that extra special something to make it stand out? I spent a week with a Stage 3 coupe to find out.
