Up for sale is my 1991 Ford Mustang LX 5.0. The car is unmolested and is nearly 100% original. With only 63,000 miles it runs and drives 100%. It has had a recent tune up. The only performance modifications are the cat back flowmaster exhaust system which sounds excellent and the short throw shifter which gives the gearbox a great feel. The cars has 4 brand new Michelin Exalto tires which look great on the original 5 star pony wheels. The car was resprayed several years ago and while not 100% perfect it is in presentable condition and shines great. I will attempt to give an accurate as possible condition of this car. The only problems with the appreance of the car is the slight bubbling of the paint in the right rear fender which i have included a picture of. The rubber moldings around the windows show some wear as well. Also the A/C does not blow cold due to a leak in hose that goes into the ac compressor. I have tested the compressor and it works just needs a new hose which is an easy fix. It is getting harder and harder to find a clean mustang that has not been modded and I hope my car goes to someone that can really appreciate this vehicle and care for it like I have. Leno chooses his top 10 Mustangs

NHTSA closes Ford F-150 EcoBoost acceleration probe
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Typically when we report on the findings of an investigation from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, it's because the government body has discovered a safety issue and prescribed a recall. In this case, however, NHTSA has closed an investigation into a reported performance deficit without ever getting to the recall stage.
The issue revolves around the Ford F-150 - specifically those equipped with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine - of which some 360,000 were built in the 2011, 2012 and 2013 model years. After receiving an initial 95 complaints, NHTSA opened an investigation last May - almost a year ago - into the reported issue of reduced engine power under hard acceleration. The agency has since received a total of 525 such complaints, and Ford itself reported receiving over 4,000.
Together, NHTSA and Ford determined that the problem resulted from cylinders misfiring, an issue itself stemming from water getting into the charge air cooler (CAC) mated to the turbochargers. In particularly humid or rainy conditions, water was found to get into the CAC, causing some of the cylinders to misfire, which in turn triggered the ECU to disable those cylinders in order to protect the catalytic converter from damage.
Last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible nets $500k for charity at Barrett-Jackson [w/video]
Tue, 13 Aug 2013The last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible was sold on Saturday at a Barrett-Jackson auction in Reno, Nevada, for $500,000. Ford donated the Mustang to be auctioned for charity, and all of the money is going to the Brain Injury Association of America.
Parnelli Jones, winner of the 1963 Indianapolis 500, was there on behalf of the BIAA with his son Page, who suffered a brain injury in a sprint car crash in 1994. The bidding increased quickly, reaching $500k in no time, spreading a bit more hope to people who live with brain injuries.
The winning bidder will be able to choose the GT500's exterior, interior and stripe colors, and is scheduled to receive the car, signed by Parnelli Jones in appreciation for the donation, by the end of 2013. Watch the video below to see the auction-block action.
