Just in time for summer heres your chance to own a very nice convertible at a low price. This was my daughters car. I own an auto repair shop this car is in very sound condition. Doesnt leak oil doesnt smoke top is 20 months old tires and brakes are 2 months old. The drivers seat had a rip so I just had it repaired last week. The car is unmolested stock but it does have Flowmaster mufflers for that american thunder sound that weve all grown to love. The engine and trans work great as does the whole car. This florida car doesnt have the rust issues northern cars do. I am selling this car at no reserve and whoever wins the auction will be happy with this car. For its age the car looks and drives excellent. The paint has a few scuffs on the hood and a couple of chips on the left rear. Thank You for reading good luck bidding. Ford Focus Electric and ST recalled over lighting issue
Mon, 12 Aug 2013Ford is recalling 6,308 units of the 2012 and 2013 Focus Electric and 2013 Focus ST that were fitted with HID headlights because a "wiring incompatibility" could keep the front side marker lights from working. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the recall should begin in the middle of this month, after which owners can take their cars to dealers to have the wiring assembly repaired free of charge.

NHTSA closes probes on Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey
Wed, 09 Jan 2013The Detroit News reports the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially closed its investigations into 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2004-2005 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey models. The separate probes found no issues that pose safety concerns. NHTSA began investigating certain Grand Cherokee SUVs over complaints that power steering hoses could detach during operation, thereby increasing the risk of a vehicle fire. Of the 24 reports of failure, none alleged smoke or fire in the engine bay, and Chrysler has since modified the power steering cooler assembly to reduce the likelihood of the failure.
Meanwhile, certain Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey vehicles garnered a government probe after receiving complaints that the models were equipped with faulty scissor jacks. The agency had received six reports of the jacks failing or causing injuries, including one incident that resulted in a fatality. But NHTSA says the jack failure rate is similar to those found in other vehicles. In those six cases, the government agency found the jacks were being used for something other than changing a tire, and investigators could not determine whether the emergency brake was set or the rear tires were properly chocked.
