Up for sale is my 2003 Mustang GT Automatic with 85,xxx miles on the odometer. This car is super clean, garage kept and babied, it even won first prize for Daily Driver in its class at last years Mustang Show at Bass Pro Shops. I have owned about one year and in that time, it has done only 5,000 miles and only ever saw nice weather. I only ever use Motorcraft Syn oil and Motorcraft oil filters. The car runs and drives fantastic, and is a real head turner! I've had so many comments about how awesome it looks and sounds.
The car has the following extras:
AIRAID intake
Trick Flow intake plenum
70MM Throttle Body
Comp XE 268 AH Stage 2 Cams
Lowered on Eibach Pro Kit
KYB shocks.
Ford Racing 4.10 rear end gears (speedometer has been corrected)
Maximum Motorsports caster/Camber Plates.
Magnaflow Catted x-pipe
Mangnalow Magnapack Cat Back Exhaust
Full custom dyno tune by Mid-Atlantic Performance (256 rwhp). I will include the SCT Tuner with the car
American Muscle 18" Black chrome FR500 rims with brand new Sumitomo Tires.
Kenwood Stereo with blurtooth capability
Mach 1 front chin spoiler and grille delete
All the above work was done since I owned the car, gears and cams were done by Mid-Atlantic performance
I have the original rims that I will also let go with the car, also have the original cams, plenum, intake etc if needed....
I will not ship the vehicle, it's sold as-is, where is, car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early based on that.

2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost
Fri, 09 May 2014I'll be honest; when Ford first unveiled its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, I was skeptical. Past attempts at building turbocharged American cars were almost universally awful, I reasoned, so why would Ford's latest effort be any different? This may seem foolish today, considering the success that the growing EcoBoost range has achieved - particularly the 2.0-liter and 1.6-liter mills. Yet I once again found myself questioning Ford.
It's the makeup of the 1.0-liter, turbocharged three-cylinder slotted into the compact engine bay of this Fiesta that has a way of breeding doubt. Three-cylinder engines remain an extreme rarity in the US. What's more, they earned a less-than-desirable reputation for applications in the 1980s and 1990s, and my trepidation about this latest three-pot as a result.
As I found out, though, history is a poor informant of modern technology. The thrust available in other cars with the EcoBoost badge on the back has not gone missing here; something the International Engine of the Year committee has lauded. That august body named the 1.0-liter Ecoboost the best engine of 2012 and 2013. After a week of driving, it didn't take long for my fear of threes to get turned into something like that line of thinking.
Ford Escort Concept goes back to basics
Fri, 19 Apr 2013Here's the thing about China: The folks buying cars there have a very different set of standards than shoppers in many other markets around the globe. While we all drool over hot metal with bold designs, and while we appreciate automakers going an extra step to inject even their cheapest offerings with aggressive and interesting cues, that sort of sheetmetal sex appeal doesn't always sell in the People's Republic. Case in point is Jaguar, which may be designing a more traditional-looking version of its XJ for the Chinese market, or more to the point of this story, Ford currently sells the less-exciting, last-generation Focus compact in China right alongside the new one.
So consider this new Shanghai-bound C-segment concept a preview of what's to come for that more traditional, budget-minded, less-sexy market. More proof of this pudding: Ford's even calling this concept the Escort - a nod to the Blue Oval's compact car days of yore, and a name that stirs up thoughts of basic, affordable transportation rather than great driving dynamics or bold design. "Customers in China described seeking a vehicle that is stylish - but not one that is arrogant or pretentious," Ford states. And this new Escort concept previews a possibility of providing exactly that for this rapidly expanding automotive market.
What you're looking at, then, is one of the most simple Ford designs we've seen of late, though it still incorporates all of the automaker's latest DNA. The signature hexagonal grille is front and center, flanked by attractive LED headlamps and chrome-rimmed foglamp housings. The entire car's design focuses on clean, smooth surfaces, with one strong character line flowing from front to back just below the beltline. We will say that the car looks decidedly more premium from the rear view, where narrow, horizontal taillamps with an LED accent give the car added visual width. Bland as it may be, it's a handsome little concept, though fear what would likely happen if all of the conceptual details get dumbed down for a production model.
Riding along in Ford's bonkers Fiesta ST Global RallyCross car [w/video]
Wed, 28 Aug 2013
The Mountune-worked Fiesta ST GRC does 0-to-60 mph in 1.9 seconds.
On any given day, and every single weekend, there's at least one parking in the country invaded by manufacturer and team trucks. The be-chromed beasts and their 53-foot trailers are slotted into rows, men and women decorate the lot with orange cones to mark the invisible tracery of a temporary track, cars get unloaded, crews fret over them. The ritual can be as beautiful as the sunrise to those with enthusiast hearts, but it's just as common.
