Up for sale is my baby, a near flawless Mustang with just 30,000 miles on it and rising, it is a 6-speed Manual transmission with the V6 3.7 engine. The consistent compliments for this car never gets old. The car is mechanically sound, the car was inspected March 14th 2013, it needs absolutely nothing. The interior shows absolutely no signs of wear, it's accompanied with a DUB badge, and DUB bucket seats. The premium sound system is amazing, there is not a flaw to this car. On the exterior, some curb rash on 1 rim, and a burn mark on the front left bumper as seen in the photo, it is from a fog light HID going on fire which the chances are minimal, but it happened to me. The damage reflects the price so don't be using it to drag down the price. it is accompanied with a DUB badge on every side of the car. It has black matte stripes down the center of the car. This car gets 19 mpg city, and 31 mpg highway, which is quite amazing for a mustang. This car is maintained, and washed constantly, I take very good care of my car. NHTSA investigating Ford Fiesta for faulty door latches
Mon, 15 Sep 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a preliminary investigation on the 2011-2013 Ford Fiesta because the regulator has received 61 complaints from drivers, including one claim of an injury, about the doors on the subcompacts failing to latch and sometimes even flying open while driving. NHTSA has estimated that the problem could affect as many as 205,000 vehicles.
NHTSA is still gathering further data about the problem, but looking at the complaints so far, both front and rear doors appear to be potentially involved with the alleged failures. Among the reports, there are 12 claiming that the door opened while driving. Several also indicate the "Door Ajar" warning illuminating during this problem. The one purported injury happened when someone attempted to shut the door, and it bounced back.
Ford spokesperson Kelli Felker told Autoblog via email, "We are cooperating with NHTSA on this investigation, as we always do." Scroll down to read the report from NHTSA.
Ford, Volvo top 2014 EyesOn Design awards
Fri, 17 Jan 2014Each year at the Detroit Auto Show, the top vehicle designs are recognized with the prestigious EyesOn Design award for production and concept vehicles. This year, the 32 EyesOn Design judges (comprised of current and former vehicle designers including Chrysler designer and SRT president Ralph Gilles, Kia designer Peter Schreyer and retired General Motors designer Wayne Cherry) handed out three awards for the Best Concept Vehicle, Best Production Vehicle and Innovative Use of Color, Graphics, and Materials.
Beating out the Mercedes C-Class and Ford F-150, the 2015 Ford Mustang was named the Best Production Vehicle as the top auto show debut at this year's Detroit show. The 2014 Volvo Concept XC Coupe took home awards as the Best Concept Vehicle and for its Innovative Use of Color, Graphics and Materials.
Considering the Volvo's primer grey hue and subtle orange accents, it was a rather surprising winner for Innovative Use of Color, Graphics, and Materials over flashier concepts like the Toyota FT-1 and our Editors' Choice top pick, the Kia GT4 Stinger. Ford Mustang pinball machine has supple wrist, plays by sense of smell [w/video]
Fri, 07 Feb 2014Ford didn't have anything major to show off at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show, so it seems it instead opted to have some fun - it brought a row of pinball machines to the show. Yes, pinball machines.
We originally told you about the Stern Pinball Ford Mustang machine a few days ago, and as day two of the Chicago show is a bit of a slow one, we opted to head to the show floor and get some snaps of the bank of new machines. Not surprisingly, there's plenty for the Mustang fan in each of these machines, ranging frond different models, to logos to a full model.
