Please contact me only at : jamesykid2@aol.com For sale is my Hennessey HPE750 Mustang Convertible #21 of #50. I ordered thestock car straight from Ford so it started as a GT Premium Convertible with theMustang Performance Pack which added the following:•Brembo Brakes •GaugePack•Heavy Duty Front Springs •K-Brace•Larger Chassis Tuning •Upsized Rear Sway Bar•Unique StabilityControl, EPAS, & ABS Tuning•TORSEN Differential with 3.73 GearsOnce itarrived, the dealer installed window tint, Data Dot theft protection, and thePassport 9500 CI radar dector:Check it out at all thiswas done, it was sent to Hennessey for the HPE750 Package with 1" loweringSprings and CarbonAero kit ($31,000 with tax): Power •782 bhp @ 7,000 rpm•648 lb-ft tourque Performance •0-60 mph: 3.4 sec •¼ mile: 10.9 @ 133 mphHPE750 Supercharged 5.0L V8 Engine Upgrade •2.9 Liter Supercharger System•Carbon Fiber High Flow Air Induction •Upgraded Fuel Injectors •UpgradedFuel Pump System •Carbon Fiber Coilpack Covers •HPE Engine CarbonAero •CarbonAero Front Splitter •CarbonAero Side Sills•CarbonAero Rear Lip Spoiler The price of the car new was $48000 and at thetime, they were offering a $2000 rebate so I got the car for $46000 plus TTL.Add the tint, Data Dot security, Extended Warranty, and Radar Detector and thatadded $4500 so that puts me at $50,500 plus TTL. It also has a 3M clear bra onthe front and acrylic coating on the rear. That was about $1300 and I have thereceipts and coverage info for that. The Hennessey HPE750 package withCarbonAero kit was $31000 plus tax so I have about $82,300 (plus shitty tax) inthe car. Hennessey has a warranty for 24 months or 24,000 miles. Work wascompleted 4/7/17 so a lot of that warranty will remain. I'll throw in a carcover that has a small tear in it from a move. I don't drive it that muchand it's a shame which is why I'm selling it. It deserves better thenthat!

2015 Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Edition says 'happy birthday' in New York

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

Fifty years ago this week, Ford debuted the first-ever Mustang at the New York World's Fair. And to celebrate, the Blue Oval is offering up this special, 50th Anniversary Edition 2015 Mustang, which makes its debut at the New York Auto Show. It'll be a seriously limited affair, with only 1,964 examples of the special edition Mustang slated to be produced (the number chosen to coincide with the 'Stang's first year in production). But for those who raise their hands for the 50th Anniversary package, there's a pretty sweet package in store.
The 50th Anniversary Edition is based on the 2015 Mustang GT with the Performance Pack, and is only available in two colors: Kona Blue, or Wimbledon White (pictured). The car also comes fully loaded - the only option for buyers to choose is the transmission. Should you opt for the six-speed automatic, you'll get a limited-slip rear differential with a 3.55:1 final-drive ratio (the 50th Anniversary car is also the only way to get a slushbox-equipped 'Stang with the Performance Pack). Selecting the six-speed manual 'box will net you a Torsen differential with a 3.73:1 ratio. All 50th Anniversary cars will be powered by Ford's 5.0-liter, naturally aspirated V8, estimated to produce more than 420 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque in the 2015 Mustang.
Inside, there's a cashmere-stitched, leather-wrapped steering wheel, with a similar detail found on the instrument panel, shift boot, door inserts, seats, and center armrest. Two-tone leather/black upholstery is also part of the 50th Anniversary package, and of course, there's a special logo on the seats.

How Ford hid the 2015 Mustang from spy photographers

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

Now that we've finally seen the 2015 Ford Mustang, it's fun to go back and look at the spy shots we spent months pouring over, trying to dissect what was under all the camouflage. For the most part, Ford did a good job of concealing the car from spy photographers, and it released a video showing how much work went into doing so.
As crude as the Mustang's camo looked, all of the hard plastic, foam, vinyl and ratchet straps were actually created and put in place by a specific design team. The whole idea was to hide the car's identity, but it certainly ended up acting as a magnet for attention, too. According to Ford's press release, it took less than an hour for spy shots to appear online after the car was taken on public roads for the very first time - this is likely in reference to our first official spy shots of the Mustang from June, shown in the gallery below.
Scroll down for a press release and video, which shows footage of the 2015 Ford Mustang testing with minimal camouflage. This is probably the same track session where we got our first look at the Mustang's face back in August.

Michigan museum offers Model T driving classes

Sun, 29 Dec 2013

Halfway between Detroit and Chicago, there is a car museum that gives visitors a unique level of interaction with antique cars. The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI has a driver's training class to teach people of any age to learn how to drive a Ford Model T.
From the crank starter to the column-mounted throttle control, this driving school teaches people all there is to know about driving and operating a Model T. Each class lasts about two and a half hours and is only open to 18 students. There are ten sessions planned for 2014 - twice a day on May 3, June 22, July 22, August 23 and September 14. The class costs $95 (or $85 for members), and it also includes a tour of the museum's automobile collection.
In addition to this driving school, the museum has plenty of exhibits on the property, and it's open all but three days per year (Easter, Christmas and New Year's Day) with free admission for school field trips and active military. Be sure to check out the Gilmore Car Museum's website or visit them on Facebook for more info.
