1965 Mustang Fastback, rebuilt 302 motor with about a 1,000 miles on the rebuild. Almost everything under the hood is new, motor is bored 30 over, cast iron GT 40 heads, have been worked, mild cam, summit racing performance intake, summit 600 carb, stainless steel headers with dual exhaust, Magnaflow mufflers, brand new aluminum radiator, 4 speed top loader with new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, throwout bearing with all new Z bar and clutch linkage. New brakes all the way around, new brake lines from front to back. New gas tank and gas lines from front to back. New emergency brake cables. New shocks all the way around. This car was rotisserie restored last year. New paint job with GT stripes. Paint in not perfect, is probably a 9 or 91/2 out of 10. You have to be really close to see any in perfections. The car has new upper and lower control arms, new steering linkage, new front end alignment, the car runs and drives perfect. It is a turn key car-doesnt need anything. drives and handles great--all kinds of power. This is a very fast car. The interior has been restored, has new carpet and dash pad. New paint inside. The seats were done awhile ago in a leather and cloth which is very rare for these cars. They still look almost new-with the cloth it is a nice touch. All lights work as they should. GREAT CAR. RWD Lincolns are coming, fate depends partly on MKZ success

The product portfolio at Lincoln may seem a bit sparse at the moment, but if a report is to be believed, new products are on the way. TheDetroitBureau.com spoke with sources at Lincoln and Ford, who claimed the American premium brand is working on, perhaps more than one, rear-wheel-drive vehicle.
Lincoln would likely platform-share with the next-generation Ford Mustang to develop those RWD offerings in the early going. Moving forward, the report indicates that Lincoln could take the lead on other rear-drive projects in the future. As the RWD architecture continues to take shape, "most or all" of the front-wheel-drive portfolio will also be offered with all-wheel drive as an option, ala Audi.
But wait, there's more! The report also suggests that a replacement for the full-size MKS is on the way, as well as a new Navigator and a luxury crossover based on the current Ford Escape.

Ford starting up 2.0L EcoBoost engine production in Ohio

Joe Hinrichs, Ford's President of The Americas (pictured above), announced today that in late 2014, the automaker will be building the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder at its Cleveland Engine Plant, a move requiring a $200-million investment and the hiring of 450 new employees. European-built Ford products will continue to source this engine from the Valencia, Spain plant where all of these EcoBoost four-cylinder engines are currently built, and the new Cleveland engines will be used for all North American-made models.
Ford is planning to build its popular EcoBoost engines regionally to maximize production capacity and meet customer demand. Last year, Ford sold 334,364 vehicles with EcoBoost engines in the US alone, and that number is expected to swell to more than 500,000 by the end of this year, with global sales expected to total 1.6 million. By 2015, Ford says that 95 percent of its nameplates will offer an EcoBoost engine.
One such vehicle that could be adding an EcoBoost engine, according to Automotive News, is none other than the 2015 Ford Mustang. The report says that Ford could use either the 2.0-liter EcoBoost or an upcoming 2.3-liter EcoBoost in the sixth-generation pony car.

There was a time not so long ago when opting for a base Ford Mustang meant getting little more than some sheetmetal, an anemic four-cylinder engine and what may very well have been the world's most disappointing automatic transmission. During the Fox Body years, Ford seemed hell-bent on living up to Carroll Shelby's derogatory description of the coupe as little more than a runabout for demure office assistants, and the result was a base model with fewer sporting intentions than a Dilbert day calendar.
Some 20 years later, hopping behind the wheel of an entry-level pony is an entirely different experience. With all of the menacing aesthetics of the brawnier GT, a well-equipped interior and a drivetrain that toes the line between efficiency and power better than few before it, the 2013 Ford Mustang V6 is an attractive option for buyers in the big coupe market. But is it attractive enough to forgo the beastly GT?
