For sale is this beautiful 2007 Mustang Shelby GT-H number 134 of 500 produced for the 40th anniversary of Shelby. Exceptionally clean its powered by a 4.6-liter V8 with an automatic transmission, just 18,990 miles. This very rare vehicle was made for the Hertz Corporation as part of their Rent-a-Racer Program. It comes with a custom Shelby serial number (CSM No. 07H134) that is displayed on the center of the dashboard, on the engine bay, and into the sill plates. This custom Mustang has many custom Shelby features including body side scoops, Shelby performance hood with pins, 14 brake package, front and rear anti-lock brake duct kits, drive light package, custom floor mats and sequential taillamps. Ford Racing Performance Group added their FR3 Power Pack and FR! Handling Pack. It also features Ford Racings 90m cold-air kit, muffler kit, and X-pipes. It has performance calibration, cat-back performance exhaust and black painted 18 aluminum wheels. The interior features black leather, a power drivers seat and a Shaker 500 audio system with 6-disc changer. This Shelby GT-H is as clean as it gets!

Ford to update Sync, MyFord Touch software... again
Wed, 07 Aug 2013Ford hasn't had the best luck with its MyFord Touch and Sync systems, as the finicky infotainment system has been subject to a critical whooping while customer issues have helped sink Ford's IQS scores. The automaker has made a concerted effort, though, to try and fix MyFord Touch. And while the results have been mixed, The Blue Oval is hoping its latest free update, set to go live next week, will make things better.
According to a report from The Detroit News, the new system promises streamlined voice commands with fewer levels between opening query and actual result. Ford is also addressing where certain options are selected on the touchscreen. Rather than working one of the four quadrants on the homescreen, users will be able to select anywhere within the quadrant to make adjustments.
While it might only be a band-aid for MFT's problems, the fact that Ford is still trying to improve it is a promising sign. It's going to take more than just this update to address the system's ills, though.
Mustang Cobra Jet prototype garners $200k for charity at Barrett-Jackson

The car was set to be auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Now that auction has taken place, bringing in an impressive $200,000 for MS research.
That's a lot of zeros for a Mustang, much less one you can't even drive on the street. But the unique pony car, bearing serial number 2014 BJMS CJXX1, packs a 5.0-liter supercharged V8, competition gearbox, wheelie bar, roll cage... all you could want, in short, in a turn-key drag racer. And all that for a good cause.

Good, here's a bunch of mechanical data on Ford's sixth-gen muscle car, along with cutaways of the GT's 5.0-liter V8 and the new 2.3-liter, EcoBoost four-cylinder shown above. We also have a smattering of info on the Stang's updated transmissions and an exploded-parts-diagram view of its all-new independent rear suspension.
Ford is set to make waves offering the Mustang with a turbo for the firs time since the small-volume SVO of the 1980s. Displacing 2.3 liters, the engine's twin-scroll turbo should help the four-cylinder turn out a projected 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, while also returning the best fuel economy in the Mustang's engine lineup. As we said in our Deep Dive, the EcoBoost will be slotted in as a premium engine, above the 3.7-liter V6 but below the 5.0-liter V8.
Speaking of that high-revving eight-cylinder, it's receiving a new cylinder head with high-flow ports. The intake and exhaust valves are larger and the cams have been replaced, among other tweaks. It should rev even higher thanks to a rebalanced crankshaft and forged connecting rods. Ford is still claiming a projected 420 hp and 390 lb-ft, although as many of the changes for the 2015's V8 come from the 2013 Boss 302, we're going to assume there's some sandbagging at work.
