This is a true barn find it has been setting in a barn for 20 years. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. . I want payment in 5 days, so if you have to get a loan or your leaving to go on vaction don't bother to bid. This is a very solid 66 Mustang the only rust spot I could find was a spot on the passenger door and on real small spot on the rear quarter, real small, other than that SUPER SOLID. I was told it was the original motor, I have had two Mustang guys come look at it and they both said it was. This is the vin 6F08C723636. The intake tag reads 289 66 12, C 231-T. The carb reads Auto Light C6DF A 66 A. The door tag reads BDY-76, Color-M, TRIM- 26A , DATE-26G, DSO-11, AXLE-6, TRANS-1. The interior looks original, the dash pad is in perfect shape everything works the wipers work the lights work, the horn, heater, and even the radio works. The car has a power top and it works perfect. You can just reach in and hit the key and the car starts right up. The car shifts great. The car is getting new wheel cylinders put on it. The tires are dry rotted but do hold air. I did drive the car not far but it was really fun. If you have any ? please call 419-571-9777. The paint job is old and no good, its flacking off. The car still has the original trunk pad in it that covers the gas tank.

Ford lowers MPG ratings on six vehicles
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Ford has announced that it will be lowering the fuel economy ratings on a number of its 2013 and 2014 model year vehicles after an error was discovered in the company's internal testing data. The EPA has been notified.
Worryingly for Ford, the vast majority of the vehicles affected are hybrids, including the C-Max, Fusion and MKZ in both hybrid and plug-in varieties (where applicable). Also covered as part of the rerating is the entire lineup of 2014 Fiesta engines, with the exception of the ST, including the turbocharged, three-cylinder EcoBoost.
The C-Max was originally rated at 47/47/47 mpg, but dropped to 43/45/40 last year and now to 40/42/37.
What next for Alan Mulally?
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Alan Mulally has emerged as a hero when it comes to American manufacturing. He came to Ford in 2006 after serving as head of Boeing's commercial aircraft division, streamlined operations, sold off the costly elements of its Premier Automotive Group and saved Ford from having to be bailed out by the federal government like its cross-town rivals Chrysler and General Motors did. But as we reported mere days ago, he's widely expected to step down from the chief executive's office at Ford shortly.
So what's next for one of the most successful executives in the business? Hard to say, but don't expect Mulally to disappear into retirement. Though he didn't ultimately take the top job at Microsoft, industry insiders expect to see him in another influential position - likely as a board director or even chairman of another company. (We say "another company" and not Ford because while Bill Ford may have stepped aside as CEO to bring Mulally on board in the first place, we don't see him giving up his chairmanship of the board also.)
Mulally has likely already lined up his next move, and could either announce what that move will be as soon as Ford confirms Mark Fields as his successor, or could wait awhile. Insiders speculate that he could leverage his transportation and aerospace experience into a position at General Electric or a major airline, his manufacturing expertise to benefit a company like Procter & Gamble or his management skills at a consultancy firm.
Oprah at it again, gives car away on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Sat, 17 Aug 2013Oprah Winfrey loves giving away cars. Not only has she given Pontiac G6 sedans and Volkswagen Beetle retro-mobiles to everyone in the audience of her past show, but the other night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! she gave another car away to one lucky audience member, while yelling her now-famous line: "You get a car!"
Although the acting of Oprah and Jimmy Kimmel was obviously staged for this giveaway, the reaction from the woman in the audience was genuine shock as she found out that she had just won a new Ford Fusion Energi. Congrats!
Not to take away from what Oprah and Jimmy pulled off, but our cynical sides have to wonder if there isn't more than just a little coincidence that this giveaway took place on the same day that Ford announced a fuel economy reduction for the C-Max hybrid.
