1925 Ford Model T Model Tt Truck on 2040-cars
Vancouver, Washington, United States
1925 fully restored Model TT truck. I bought this Model TT along with two other cars from the estate of a wealthy friend who passed approximately 10 years ago. The truck was restored by the previous owner to better than new condition and was fitted with a small Volkswagen diesel engine and 3 speed automatic transmission. All other components are as they would have been new except much nicer. Equipped with factory 2 speed rear end. All body panels and wood work in excellent condition. Beautiful interior, glass, wood wheels and all woodwork. Always stored inside. Runs excellent and drives OK. Brakes need to work better (at least I think so, although I have never driven something of this vintage before) and steering seems a little loose. Comfortable top speed is around 35 MPH although I have driven it faster on occasion. This truck will need period correct side mirrors as it is nearly impossible to change lanes as it is. All lights work, glass is pristine and tires are like new. I have never driven a vehicle that garnered so much attention from people both young and old. Reason for selling is I have two projects coming out of restoration soon and that makes 7 cars to store and I only have a shop big enough for 5. The truck is currently in Vancouver Washington and I am in the oil fields of North Dakota. Fell free to call me directly with any questions. Thank you, Todd (701) 213-7769 |

Ford Australia pulls the ol' talking car prank
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Siri from Apple has proven that being able to talk to your technology doesn't always work perfectly. But what if it could eventually go far enough to give a personality to inanimate objects like our cars? Ford took just this path to comedic effect by playing a prank on many unsuspecting Australians, in a new commercial for its EcoSport compact crossover.
The Aussies seem very nonchalant about having a random parked car talk to them, and they seem surprisingly game when it asks them to get in, call a celebrity and tell a joke. (We're guessing there are some hilarious outtakes, too.) Scroll down to watch some folks from Down Under have a conversation with Ford's CUV.
Ford sells 7-millionth Explorer in America
Mon, 17 Nov 2014Say what you will about the evolution of the Ford Explorer, from roofed Ranger to body-on-frame sport utility vehicle to unibody crossover - the bottom line is that it's been a tremendously successful model for Ford. In fact, the Blue Oval automaker has sold seven million Explorer models in the United States alone.
The milestone, marked nearly a quarter-century after the introduction of the original in 1990, comes on the eve of the introduction of a new Explorer at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. We don't yet know how the new Explorer will shape up, but we're mere days away from finding out.
Now heading into its sixth generation, the Explorer has formed the basis of Ford's utility lineup for over two decades. The Explorer landed on the market right around the time that the Bronco was trailing off, predating the company's expansion into larger SUVs like the Expedition and Excursion and crossovers like the Escape, Edge and Flex.
Ford announces 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition
Tue, 09 Apr 2013Ford has pulled the wraps off its anticipated 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition model, a new variant of the popular street-legal off-road specialist. In a nutshell, the "special" is all cosmetic - there are no mechanical upgrades to the truck and its 6.2-liter V8 (411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque), Torsen limited-slip differential, beadlock-capable wheels and internal triple-bypass FOX Racing Shox dampers all remain untouched.
The SVT Raptor Special Edition, which adds cosmetic enhancements to the existing Luxury Package, will be offered in Ruby Red Metallic and Tuxedo Black Metallic with box-side graphics. The interior upgrades include Brick Red seat bolsters (with black inserts), cloth honeycomb highlights and a console top finish panel.
As of now, Ford has only release a couple pictures of the Special Edition model. But check back later, as we will update the gallery when additional high-res images are released later today, and be sure to peruse the press release below for all the details.
