1932 Henry Ford Steel pickup with clear title. Truck has a nice bed, pretty solid cab with a little rot in typical spots, drivers door is in good shape and is solid. Passenger door is little rough but very fixable. Has a Bitchin Fire Wall already installed. Has windshield frame, dash, and grill shell that are all steel. Most of the fabrication work is done on the truck. Cab is channeled 6 inches over a '34 Ford boxed frame and bolted on with all the braces welded in for the floor. The frame is completely boxed with new store bought X cross members welded in. Bed is bolted on frame with all the braces welded in it for a new floor. Has a 9 inch Ford rear end with brakes. It has coil overkit with radius arms and new Pan Hard bar kit with new rear shocks. Rear suspension is totally done. Front has new Speedway 6 inch drop axle kit with 27 inch radius rods. It has reverse eye super glide spring. Axle kit was $600 by itself. New Speedway 11 inch rotors, GM caliper/spindle brake kit with brake pads and braided lines. Kit was $300. Also has new Speedway Vega steering box already installed with pitment arm and draglink that were also $300. Front suspension is totally done. Truck is sitting on a set of Vintage ET Mags with set of matching Mickey Thompson tires. First Ford Mustang prototype shots caught by legendary spy shooter Jim Dunne
Fri, 12 Apr 2013You know how people refer to someone as having "been around the block" to mean they're very experienced? Well, when it comes to automotive spy photography, Jim Dunne actually laid down the concrete slabs of the block's sidewalk. The unforgettable Dunne more or less invented the car spy game - a fact he cemented by writing book called Car Spy - and has been delivering spy shots and reporting on the industry for some 45 years now. (He also once employed this writer as his impromptu personal chauffer on a Volkswagen trip in Germany, while he slept, but that's a story for a different time.)
In any event, Dunne must be on a mission to prove that "elder statesman" doesn't also mean "washed up" as it is his shots of the upcoming new 2014 Ford Mustang that we've been handed by our friends at KGP Photography.
Mr. Dunne has likely spent the last few years obtaining powerful telescopic lenses, as the Ford in question has clearly been photographed from some distance. Nevertheless, what you see here is visual evidence that the sixth-generation Mustang has moved beyond the mule stage, and is now testing in proper prototype form. Sources indicate that there are production-spec body panels under that baggy canvass dress; but the slightly less bulky silhouette of the new car can be just made out. While the car's bumpers have been removed to obfuscate things, we can tell by way of the camo's apertures that the car's taillights have moved upwards and towards the lip of the tail. A fender vent appears to be visible, too, just behind the front wheel.
A tribute to William Clay Ford
Tue, 11 Mar 2014The passing of William Clay Ford has been a big event for the company he spent most of his life helping run. Ford spent 57 years working for his family's company. Considering the Blue Oval has been around for over 100 years, WCF's passing is the end of an era for the Dearborn-based manufacturer.
Ford's YouTube channel has issued a short memorial video highlighting the life of the longest-lived grandson of company founder Henry Ford. It follows William Clay from his time as a boy, showing him alongside his grandfather, through his younger years, and into his twilight, as the patriarch of the Ford family.

Mulally confirms he's not leaving Ford for Microsoft
Tue, 07 Jan 2014In recent months, rumors had been flying about Ford CEO Alan Mulally potentially leaving the company to take a position at Microsoft. Last we heard, Mulally was planning to stick around at Ford through at least 2014, and in an interview today, that bit was confirmed by the CEO himself.
According to the Associated Press, in a report from The Detroit News, Mulally said he will not be leaving Ford for Microsoft, and reiterated that he will remain at the Blue Oval through 2014, if not longer. Mulally has "no plans other than to serve Ford," according to the report.
Mulally did not say whether or not he had been in talks with Microsoft at any point. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has said he plans to leave the software company sometime this year.
