Up for sale is our 65 Ranchero. This Ranchero is rare because it is so solid and has very little rust. It would make an excellent candidate for a show car, restomod, drag racer, road racer or used as a daily driver. It runs and drives well. The suspension has been updated with a larger than stock front sway bar, stiffer than stock front coil springs and roller spring perches. All of the suspension is in good shape. It handles well and rides nice. It has 14" wheels on it with the 4 lug pattern and 4 wheel drum brakes that stop the Ranchero well with no issues. The motor runs good and the transmission shifts smooth with a new clutch. It has a new radiator and fuel pump. The carburetor was rebuilt and the motor fires right up in the mornings. It has a clear title and is currently on non-operation. It is not insured so there will be no test drives. It moves forward and backward under it's own power so loading it on a truck or boat is not an issue. It is being sold as is. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I will not let the Ranchero be driven away from it's present location. It has been sitting for a while and should have a full safety check done on it before it is driven any distance. Mustang GT350 reveal coming Nov 17?
Mon, 03 Nov 2014Ford looks to have something really big planned for the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Blue Oval has released the first of five teaser videos on the brand's performance heritage, and aside from some great images of racers over the years, the video includes a series of teaser images, the last of which points to November 17, 2014.
That's the day before press days open in LA, and considering the propensity of global automakers to plan lavish debuts the night before a major international auto show, it's a virtual certainty that Ford will be showing off some sort of special vehicle.
That'd be news in and of itself, but based on the images shown in Ford's teaser video - which include an Alcantara steering wheel, a "Powered by Ford" valve cover, aluminum pedals, sticky tires, a big, round exhaust tip, a honeycomb grille and a serious set of wheels - it seems very likely that Ford will be showing something performance oriented.

Sun, 20 Jan 2013Despite some truly impassioned pleading from Jay Leno himself - including calling on Arizona's notoriously Republican-rich voters to beat the $600,000 level set the last time Leno sold a vehicle for this particular charity... in California - bidding for George Bush's 2009 Ford F-150 pickup truck stalled at $300,000.
All proceeds will be sent to the Fisher House Foundation, so at least it's $300K going to a good cause. Feel free to check out the live image gallery above, which includes shots showing Leno's skills helming the auction, and read through the official auction description below.

Roush getting back into sport compact business with Focus ST mods [w/video]
Wed, 29 May 2013Roush Performance offers a whole raft of parts for folks looking to tune their Ford Mustang and F-150 models, and now Focus owners can start getting in on the hotted-up action, too. Owners of the 2012-13 Focus and 2013 Focus ST can now get a Roush cold-air intake system, and ST owners can also opt for a high-performance cat-back exhaust.
Although all of these components are now available for order, the parts will ship sometime in July; no word yet on pricing. Down the road, Roush will also offer styling upgrades for the Focus as well as performance tuning upgrades such as engine controller, suspension, wheels and tires.
