I love to buy vehicles like this that were not traded-in but were donated to a charity. This one needed some brake lines so I replaced them.  These are win win deals. The previous owner gets a tax write off. the charity gets well needed funds and my customers get a nice vehicle. This truck runs and drives excellent. The tires are "like new". It has a few dings on the hood, as well as scratches here and there. Great on fuel, but I don't think you will tow a 50' boat with it. LOL. I only sell cars and trucks on this site, so you don't have to search my feedback for somone who bought a car from me. EVERY feedback from a buyer is for a vehicle like this. No exceptions. Please call me, ( Dickie ) for any questions. My number is: 508 994-9206. P.S. I've been in business for 38 years and with Ebay motors for ten years. I got my first negative feedback from a man called Skip Bell. I sold him a nice Dodge Stratus for $1995.00. He met me in person and I explained to him that the manual crank window on the driver's side would stick once in a while. He tried it and liked it and he drove it home to New Jersey. When he arrived  he left me a message saying how much he liked the car. Later he called me to tell me that his mechanic wanted $258.00 to replace the window regulator on the driver's side. ( the one I told him about ). I told him I could buy one on Ebay for between $50.00 to $75.00, send it to his mechanic and pay to have it installed. He refused and left negative feedback. No mention of the window of course. Brakes sound a lot more serious. I won't use the term  to describe what  he was trying to do, but I think you know what I mean. I have the recording for anyone who would like to hear it.  ( perfectly legal ) Take care,  Dickie. P.S. This truck does not have air conditioning.

Ford profiles surprisingly affluent Focus ST buyers

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

It comes as no surprise when Ford says that 32-percent of Focus ST buyers are under 35, but we weren't expecting this: the average annual salary of Focus ST buyers is $127,000. Twenty-two percent of non-ST Focus buyers are under 35, while their average annual salary is $67,000.
We like the Focus ST because it has 252 horsepower, is genuinely fun to drive and offers great value for performance-minded car enthusiasts; facts that are not lost on customers, it seems. Ford says that the Focus ST has the highest percentage of conquest sales for a non-hybrid model it sells, and that the top-four trade-ins are from Honda, Chevrolet, Mazda and Toyota. Demand for the hot Focus is strongest in Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston and Orlando.
"[The Focus ST is] having this kind of halo effect for other vehicles we'd hoped for when we invested in the ST brand," says John Felice, vice president of US marketing, sales and service, because it's helping to boost sales of other Ford vehicles.

2015 Ford Mustang vs. Camaro and Challenger [w/poll]

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

The horsepower wars are tightening among the Detroit Three, as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger are getting bigger, more powerful, and yes, more fuel efficient.
That came into sharper focus this week as more information was revealed about the most insane Challenger ever - the 707-horsepower Hellcat - followed quickly by Ford's in-depth showcase of the 2015 Mustang in Dearborn.
It's shaping up to be a golden age for enthusiasts, and what's under the hood is becoming more important than ever.

Hot sales have Detroit automakers shortening summer shutdowns

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

Back in May, there was speculation that the Detroit Three automakers would maintain or perhaps even extend their traditional summer shutdowns, mostly due to a bitingly cold winter that saw below-freezing temperatures infiltrate the southernmost reaches of the US, putting a chill on auto sales. Now, though, the numbers are in, and thanks to some promising sales figures, it looks like some domestic line workers are going to be working clear through July, in some cases.
According to Automotive News, Ford has slashed its traditional two-week hiatus for factory workers in half at four of its plants, while both Chrysler and General Motors will keep factories running nonstop (two plants in Chrysler's case and a third of GM's factories).
This is, as we said, thanks to some positive numbers. Chief among those is the Seasonal Adjusted Annual Rate, which was at an eight-year high of 17 million units. Individual figures were less promising. GM, embroiled in its recall scandal, still saw a one-percent increase while Ford dropped six percent in year-over-year sales. Chrysler was the big winner, though, with a nine-percent jump in June.
