1994 Ford Ranger XLT You are looking at a truck that is practically good as a new one! I have receipts totaling $11,166.95 ( eleven thousand, one hundred and sixty six dollars and ninety five cents ) for new paint, new parts and labor that have been spent on this truck . Under the hood is a new 3.0 V6 crate long block engine with 2 years and the remainder of the 100,000 miles warranty, a reconditioned radiator and plastic cooling fan. Of course, all the hoses and belts are new. Also a new complete dual exhaust system including the exhaust manifold, clutch kit ( clutch, throw-out bearing, pressure plate, slave cylinder), all new front end parts (ball joints, tie rods, power steering pump, wheel hubs and drums , shock absorbers) complete new brakes on all wheels, new alternator, starter, fuel pump, etc. New wheels and tires, sliding back glass, new interior (carpet, headliner, seat and dash cover, etc), new lockable aluminum toolbox, sprayed in bedliner, new windshield and tinted windows. It also has a new Sony remote controlled Sony stereo system with Fosgate amplifier and Fosgate 10 inch sub-woofer. Please note the tachometer, and water temp and oil pressure gauges on pod mounted on driver’s door post and also custom steering wheel. It also has new in-dash white face gauges, with changeable ambient blue or green colors for the dash gauges. There are cool blue L.E.D. lights under dash and behind seats for the night time cruising along with clear L.E.D. running lights in the grill. I am sure there are a lot of parts that I have forgotten to list and as one can see no expense was spared to put this truck in the condition as you see it! This truck drives as new, the shifter is tight, and with the 5 speed manual transmission she gets 18 mpg city and 23 mpg highway on regular 87 octane gas. The total miles on this truck today is 134,600 subject to change as this truck is driven daily. This would be a perfect truck for school or cruising and I have all the receipts for the money spent on this truck. I get compliments every day on this head turner. I HAVE DESCRIBED THE TRUCK AS ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE AND YOU ARE WELCOME TO HAVE YOUR MECHANIC CHECK IT OUT . THIS TRUCK CAN BE BOUGHT FOR THOUSANDS LESS THAN THE AMOUNT SPENT ON RESTORATION COST. Ford board pushing Mulally for decision amidst fears story is drowning out other news
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Automakers and their executives rarely like to divulge information regarding future goings on, but the board of directors at Ford sound like they're getting a little antsy about chief executive officer Alan Mulally and his plans for 2014.
According to Reuters, as news of Mulally's possible departure to Microsoft continues to swirl, Ford's board is looking to push the affable executive to make a decision about his future sooner rather than later. Apparently, the board is growing concerned that this will-he/won't-he drama may end up distracting the media from covering Ford's other big news events next year - items like the debut of key all-new products like the Mustang and F-150.
So far, the picture for Mulally's eventual successor remains fuzzy, but it's understood that the leading candidate remains the company's chief operating officer, Mark Fields. Just recently, we heard that Mulally will stay until the end of 2014, but a few months ago, Ford seemed open to the idea of him stepping down earlier than that.
Pickup sales may hit 2M units for first time since 2007
Sat, 21 Sep 2013Even as fuel prices creep back up, trucks are still a hot item among new-vehicle shoppers. To see how popular pickup trucks still are, you don't have to look any further than how much effort automakers put into the continual one-upmanship of their trucks. Backing this fact up, USA Today is reporting that the segment could top two million sales this year - a total not matched since 2007, though still far from the pre-recession, three-million-unit levels.
Through August, the Ford F-Series continues to be the segment leader with almost 500,000 units sold, but the Chevy Silverado (328,269), Ram 1500 (234,642), GMC Sierra (122,232) and Toyota Tacoma (110,293) are all seeing at least 20-percent sales increases, helping to account for around 1.44 million truck sales so far this year - not including possible outliers like the Suzuki Equator and Chevy Avalanche.
This year alone, General Motors has completely redesigned its fullsize trucks, Ram and Toyota have significantly updated their offerings, the next-gen Ford F-150 will be out next year and Nissan is promising an all-new Titan around the same time with an eventual Cummins diesel under the hood. It would seem, then, that truck sales are poised to continue their upward trend.
Ford Mustang GT350 seen and heard in motion for the first time
Fri, 27 Sep 2013We just recently saw our first spy shots of the next-gen hi-po Ford Mustang slated to replace the Shelby GT500, but now we're getting our first look - and listen - of prototypes captured on video. Mustang6g.com has the video (along with some different spy shots), which show that, if nothing else, SVT knows how to tune an exhaust system. The :50 mark is a good example of this, but fast-forward to around 2:00 where the driver revs the engine and really gets on the throttle hard taking off from a stop.
There's still no definitive evidence that the next-gen SVT Mustang - said to be called GT350 - will be naturally aspirated, but it sounds just as menacing as the current Shelby GT500. While the video posted below exhibits the sort of quality that is to be expected from someone driving while trying to film someone who is attempting to elude being filmed, it's still exciting to see and hear this new Mustang in motion.
