Up for auction in a very clean 2002 Thunderbird. I have owned the car since 2007. I gave the car to my mother as a 2nd car to drive in 07. We are the second owners. Only 89k garage kept miles. I personally own an automotive repair shop and have always done the maintenance work. In the past year I have done a full brake job (pads and rotors)and a new set of tires. The car has both tops (hard and soft) and the hardtop roll around cart that folds up and stores in the trunk. This is a very nice car. Keep in mind it is not flawless or new. It has minor wear and tear expected with a 12 year old car. The passenger side door lock doesn't unlock sometimes. It needs a new actuator($50 part). Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Look at all the pictures for an accurate description. Payment due in full 7 days after auctions end. I reserve the right to end the auction early. Ford gets colorful with Mustang anniversary infographic
Thu, 24 Oct 2013Preparing to celebrate its 50th birthday, the Ford Mustang has seen a lot of vehicle trends come and go, and this especially goes for paint colors. Using historical production data, Ford has managed to create an infographic dating back to 1967 that breaks down the three top Mustang colors for each year as well as calling out some of the more interesting trends and colors over the years.
Over its five generations, the Mustang has been offered in a seemingly endless rainbow - from Playboy Pink in '67 and color-changing Mystichrome on the 2004 Cobra - but the most popular has always been red, which is the color of choice for 21 percent of all Mustangs ever made. Almost every year since 1967, red has been among the top three colors for the Mustang, but other popular colors have included blue, white, brown and, most recently, black. There are even websites and registries available for people owning certain-color Mustangs.
As the all-new 2015 Mustang gets ready for its debut later this year, there's no telling what kind of exciting and/or wacky colors Ford has in store. Ford of Europe celebrates Mondeo's 20th anniversary
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Ford's European operations are celebrating a milestone of sorts as the Mondeo, the Blue Oval's bread-and-butter D-segment sedan in the old country, celebrates its 20th anniversary. The mid-sizer, which was sold in the US for a short time as the Contour, has been a far more popular vehicle in Europe - even receiving regular praise from one Jeremy Clarkson.
Narrated by Cockney actor Ray Winstone, the video goes through the Mondeo's years and how it's evolved from 1993 to the as-yet-unreleased fifth-generation model, which is essentially the same as the Ford Fusion that's sold in America. Take a look below for the full video from Ford of Europe.
'Born of a Blue Sky' brings the Amelia Island Concours to you
Fri, 03 May 2013The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has more clout every year and is getting a reputation as Pebble Beach minus the madness. Held in March this year, it celebrated Ducati and the 50-year anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Corvette Sting Ray, Porsche 911 and the Ford GT40.
Justin Lapriore was there, and seemingly everywhere, getting footage of the various wares on display on the lawns and the sand and the runway. The resulting video, Born of a Blue Sky, is a 16-minute survey of some of the finer sights and plenty of engine sounds. Check it out below.
