Palm Bay, Florida, United States
1991 FORD THUNDERBIRD SUPERCOUPE (PARTLY RESTORED) GARAGE KEPT FOR YEARS PURCHASED IN 1995 - STILL HAVE ORIGIONAL BILL OF SALE ALSO HAVE A STACK OF PAPERWORK FROM ALL ITEMS DONE TO THE CAR- THESE ARE ALL WE CAN FIND BUT THERE WERE MANY MORE ITEMS DONE TO THE CAR - A TON OF RECEIPTS WILL SHOW HOW THE CAR WAS CARED FOR WELL FOR ALL OF THESE YEARS. MANY PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED - THIS CAR RAN PERFECT BEFORE BEING GARAGED TO BE FIXED UP WITH A NEWER ENGINE- AT THAT TIME ALL OF THE FEATURES/ POWER LOCKS/ WINDOWS/ AIR ALL WORKED - CANNOT GUARANTEE SO COMES AS IS BUT THIS WAS A FAMILY MEMBERS CAR THAT TOOK AMAZING CARE OF IT AND OUR LOSS WILL BE SOMEBODYS HUGE GAIN! THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST DEALS ON EBAY FOR A CAR IN GOOD SHAPE AND TWO MOTOR ESPECIALLY ONE THAT WAS PURCHASED REBUILT FOR ABOUT $3300 WITH 40,000 MILES ON OT
THIS CAR IS PARTLY RESTORED- IT IS VERY CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT ESPECIALLY FOR THE YEAR- OUTSIDE FINISH LOOKS GREAT - INSIDE CARPET LOOKS GOOD AND DASH ALSO ORIGIONAL- NEEDS SEATS -ALSO NEEDS MINOR THINGS ALSO- HAS ENGINE IN THE CAR NOT HOOKED UP (NOT SURE IF IT WORKS) BUT ANOTHER ENGING WITH ABOUT 20,000 MILES IS ALSO INCLUDED (2 ENGINES) 3.8 SUPERCHARGED ENGINE READY TO BE PUT IN- ENGINE WAS PURCHASED FOR $1800 - COMES AS IS IN PICS- ASK QUESTIONS- SELLING WAY BELOW THE VALUE ******************************************************* THE OLD ENGINE INSIDE THE CAR HAS BEEN DRIVEN TO ABOUT $150,000 MILES+ THERE ARE PICS FOR BOTH ENGINES - YOU GET BOTH - THE ONE STILL IN THE CAR IS THE ONE WITH THE HIGH MILEAGE - SEE LAST TWO PICS THERE IS A NEWER REBUILT ENGINE IN GREAT SHAPE THAT WAS PURCHASED TO FIX UP THE CAR. THE MILEAGE SHOWN IN THE CAR IS ABOUT 40,000 AND WE WERE TOLD THAT IS WHAT THE NEWER ENGINE CAME WITH IN MILEAGE SO IT WAS PUT IN ALSO - BOTH ENGINES COME WITH THE CAR ***THIS CAR WAS A FAMILY MEMBERS AND WAS STORED AND WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF BEING RESTORED- UNFORTUNATLY THIS WAS LEFT TO ME BY MY FAMILY MEMBER AND THIS CAR WAS KEPT UP IN GREAT SHAPE FOR YEARS. HE WAS INTENDING ON REPLACING THE ENGINE IN THE CAR AND PURCHASED ANOTHER 3.8 SUPERCHARGED ENGINE WITH ABOUT 20,000 MILES SO THE CAR COMES WITH THE OLD ENGINE IN THE CAR AND THE 2ND ENGINE- BOTH ENGINES I BELIEVE RUN BOT NOT POSITIVE-THE NEWER ENGINE IS DEFINATLY A WORKING MOTOR (NOT SURE OF THE 2ND BUT I BELEIVE IT STILL WORKS) SELLING AS -IS SO LOOK AT ALL PICS AND ASK QUESTIONS BY CALLING OR EMAILING. ALSO OTHER EXTRA PARTS (SEE PICS) ARE INCLUDED - THEY ARE WRAPPED UP IN THE TRUNK. THE CAR HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT - THE ENGINE NEEDS TO BE SWAPPED AND SEATS ARE NEEDED FROM WHAT I REMEMBER BUT NOT POSITIVE. ALSO TIRES HAVE GOOD TREAD BUT HAVE BEEN SITTING SO SOME MAY NEED REPLACING.
THIS CAR IS PRICED WAY BELOW THE VALUE AS IT IS A CLASSIC CAR OVER 23 YEARS OLD!! VALUED UP TO $11,000-13,000 IN GREAT SHAPE FROM WHAT I WAS TOLD **1 ENGINE ALONE WOULD SELL FOR $3000-4000 IN GREAT SHAPE WE ARE SELLING WAY BELOW VALUE FOR A FAST SALE WITH A LITTLE FIXING THIS WILL BE AN UNBELIEVABLE INVESTMENT ****THIS CAR HAR ALWAYS TURNED HEADS AS ITS THE LOW BODY STYLE- VERY WIDE LIKE OLDER RACE CARS **MANY PEOPLE DESIRED THIS CAR WHEN IT WAS ON THE ROAD AND IT STILL LOOKS IN GREAT SHAPE CAR COMES AS IS - NO WARRANTY ASK QUESTIONS IF NEEDED CALL 321-917-6620 WITH ANY QUESTIONS

Michigan museum offers Model T driving classes
Sun, 29 Dec 2013Halfway between Detroit and Chicago, there is a car museum that gives visitors a unique level of interaction with antique cars. The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI has a driver's training class to teach people of any age to learn how to drive a Ford Model T.
From the crank starter to the column-mounted throttle control, this driving school teaches people all there is to know about driving and operating a Model T. Each class lasts about two and a half hours and is only open to 18 students. There are ten sessions planned for 2014 - twice a day on May 3, June 22, July 22, August 23 and September 14. The class costs $95 (or $85 for members), and it also includes a tour of the museum's automobile collection.
In addition to this driving school, the museum has plenty of exhibits on the property, and it's open all but three days per year (Easter, Christmas and New Year's Day) with free admission for school field trips and active military. Be sure to check out the Gilmore Car Museum's website or visit them on Facebook for more info.
2015 Ford F-150 pricing announced, aluminum-bodied truck up just $395
Mon, 28 Jul 2014The eagerly anticipated Ford F-150 has had its 2015 pricing announced, adding only a small amount to the pickup's total cost, despite its weight-saving aluminum body. The XL and XLT entry level models only see a $395 boost over the heavier, current-generation, 2014 truck.
The XL starts at $26,615 while the XLT rings up at $31,890. The increase for Lariat is up a similarly negligible $895, to $39,880. Going up the ladder, meanwhile, the leather-intensive King Ranch sees the biggest jump of the F-150 family, with prices increasing $3,515, to $49,460. Finally, picking up the top-end Platinum trim will cost an extra $3,055, with prices starting at $52,155.
The higher prices are being blamed not only on the aluminum bodies, which trim up to 700 pounds of body fat, but on increased levels of standard equipment. While we were expecting a price hike, the fact that the 2015 F-150's volume trims - Ford spokesman Mike Levine told Reuters that the XL and XLT alone cover 70 percent of F-150 sales - have had less than a $400 increase is hugely impressive.
