This is a 1970 Ford Torino GT, with a 351 Cleveland and a top loader 4 speed.A Ford 9in rear with 3.31 no posi. It is a four speed Car with Factory A/C and power steering, but Manual drum brakes. The car stops strait and true without excessive pedal pressure. With all the company's producing power disk brake upgrades,a Saturdays worth of work would give you a great combination of options. The engine has a fresh rebuild with 9.8 to one compression ratio for today's pump gas.It has less than 500 miles and is fully sorted out and runs great!! As you can see ,we cleaned and detailed under the hood when the engine was out. It has a slightly larger cam than stock to give you a slight lope at idle, and great mid range power. It also has a new complete exhaust system on the factory manifolds. No headers! The A/C still needs to be recharged after installing the engine. It is still an R-12 system. The interior is very nice as you can see.Seats, headliner, and carpets are real nice. The dash pad has a crack over the instrument panel and could be changed if it bothered you. The car has an older repaint in the factory Yellow color and shows good. It's a driver quality paint job. Not a $8000 strip and repaint! The car has great floors and trunk. No rust through under the car at all!! Over all a great entry level Ford Muscle Car that you can get in and enjoy. Please come and look and drive this great car. I will be sure to make myself available. Any question please call. I am not a dealer. Ray 860-668-5962 up to 8pm EST.

Ford S-Max Concept proves minivans aren't always minivans [w/video]
Tue, 10 Sep 2013Ford's latest don't-call-it-a-minivan is called the S-Max Concept, and it's a looker. As you can see, the conceptual overgrown hatch makes good use of Ford's latest design language, especially at the very front of the S-Max, which bears a striking resemblance to production models that include the Focus, C-Max and Fusion.
Powering the S-Max Concept is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, and while Ford doesn't actually list power figures for the concept, previous estimates put the mill at 133 kW of power (about 178 horsepower) and 240 Nm of torque (about 177 pound-feet). Inside, there's room for seven passengers and at least some of their luggage.
As you'd expect, the S-Max is loaded up with all of Ford's latest infotainment technology, including Sync and MyFordTouch. More interestingly, there are also onboard heart and blood glucose monitors that we doubt will be seeing the light of production anytime soon. On that topic, don't expect to see any S-Max-shaped vehicles hitting the US market from Ford, either. Scroll down below for the press release, but not before checking out the high-res image gallery above.
Ford gets its Movement on, releases 'Sounds of Focus' tracks
Sun, 25 May 2014Ford has, for at least the second year in a row, teamed up with techno promoter Paxahau and a couple of artists to make music in recognition of the Detroit Movement music festival. This time, Movement performers Ataxia and Secrets were selected by Ford, and were invited to spend some time at the automaker's Michigan Assembly Plant, which gives birth to the Ford Focus and Focus Electric models.
Now that we know the what, how about the why? According to Ford, "Detroit is uniquely tied to the origins of the electronic music scene. In the 1980's variations of electronic music stemmed from inspirations of industry, including the automotive sector." So, there you go. If you're interest is piqued, feel free to read the press release, watch the video and listen to the tracks below.
More 2015 Ford Mustang pricing information leaks [UPDATE]
Tue, 20 May 2014The big news this morning was that the 2015 Ford Mustang would start at $24,425, including its destination pricing. The big news this afternoon is, well, bigger.
Mustang6G.com has come up with what it claims is pricing info for the entire Mustang line, rather than just the V6. That means we know all about the EcoBoost and GT prices now, which, when combined with the dealer order sheets we reported on last week, gives us our clearest look yet at how the Mustang can be outfitted (we're still a bit short on pricing info for some standalone options, like paint premiums and such).
The base EcoBoost starts at $25,995, while the GT rings up at $32,925.
