I have a very nice 2006 GMC Savana 2500 Extended, handicap wheelchair accessible van, High Top Roof with Extended doors for sale. It has the Explorer Limited SE Conversion kit which includes: power reclining front seats, power lumbar front seats, automotive stainless steel mesh grill, power sunroof with sunscreen, front spoilers & driving lights, monochromatic door handles, painted mirrors, leather steering wheel, High Intensity Ceiling light panels, padded front door armrests, wrap around groud effects, full front bumper cover, 7 passenger leather seating, both front seats are heated, USB charging port, rear entertainment package with 2 headphones, molded tv screen, sub-woofer, remote, rear heat controls and more. 6.0L V-8, rear wheel drive, a/c, am/fm radio with cd player, BFGoodrich tires that are near new. My son-in-law is a mechanic and we recently had it in there for a regular oil change and service, and also replaced all shocks. There are no leaks, very clean and well maintained. I also just got the van back from our local Detail Shop and had the interior cleaned. It has the Braun Corp single arm lift, 600lb capacity, with hand control. Also, I'm including the SureLock tie downs and seatbelts. There is a piece missing out of the passenger side running board, which you can see in the photos. We purchased this van due to my wifes diagnosis with ALS. It worked extremly well for us because our whole family could travel together. The two rear captain chairs are easily removable to allow plenty of room for a wheelchair. She recently passed away so I no longer have a need for this type of vehicle. OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles
Thu, 06 Jun 2013As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.

2015 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra heavy duty trucks unveiled
Thu, 26 Sep 2013Proving just how important trucks are in the Lone Star State, General Motors has chosen the State Fair of Texas to reveal its new heavy-duty trucks from Chevrolet and GMC. Looking to take some of the wind out of the sails of the 2014 Ram HD and 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty, the 2015 Chevy Silverado HD and 2015 GMC Sierra HD will have plenty to brag about when they go on sale in the first quarter of next year.
The bragging starts right up front with two available engines. The standard engine is a Vortec 6.0-liter V8 that produces 360 horsepower in the 2500HD and 322 hp in the 3500HD to go along with 380 pound-feet of torque in all applications. The true benefit of this powerplant is that buyers can opt for it to run on straight gasoline, E85 FlexFuel or even compressed natural gas (CNG). For maximum towing and even more flexibility, the 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel B20-capable V8 is the way to go, with its carryover 397 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque. Though the max towing abilities of 23,200 pounds (with a fifth-wheel trailer) are less than the 30,000-pound rating of the new Ram, the GM HD trucks offer better conventional trailer towing (19,600 pounds) and payload (7,374 pounds) than rival heavy-duty trucks...for now. The Duramax is paired with a six-speed Allison automatic transmission, while the gas engine gets GM's six-speed Hydra-Matic - no manual transmissions are offered.
Including the engines, GM continues to offer a broad range of configurations (more than 150, to be exact) including three cabs, two cargo bed lengths, numerous trim levels and, of course, the choice of single- or dual-rear wheels on the 3500. The HD trucks have faces that are similar to their half-ton counterparts, with the exception of a larger grille and bigger for improved air flow, and like the current HD offerings, the new Silverado HD and Sierra HD DRW models feature a one-piece bed design incorporating the fender extensions.

Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
