This truck is just as good looking as it looks in the pictures. I just had a new base coat, clear coat paint job done 3 months ago. I even had them paint the inside of the pick up bed The tires are brand new Good year Tracker. It comes with a very nice tonuea cover as seen.
I bought the truck used with 169.000 miles on it in April of 07. At 170.000 I changed the rear end grease, changed transmission oil and filter and installed a new battery. Tune up at 182.000. At 203.000 I replaced the A/C compressor, dryer and orfice tube. Recharged system. Checked brakes at 216.000 and were okay. I was convinced when I bought it that the owner who bought it new had taken excellent care of it. I also have taken good care of it. I have changed the oil and filter on a regular basis. About every 4000 miles. With Quaker state 10/30 oil. The truck has a trailer package on it. Receiver, has transmission cooler. Is equipped with set up for electric brakes. I used it to haul a 22 foot boat and it performed great. If driven sensibly it will get about 18 MPG. The only thing that doesn't work is the power mirrors. Seats are cloth. There are no tears in the seats. No cracks in the dash. The interior is just as nice as the exterior. It has dual exhaust. This is a solid truck and worth the money I am asking

GM can't keep up with most popular pickup orders
Mon, 30 Sep 2013With the market for pickup trucks at its best since before the recession, General Motors can't afford any hiccups with the launch of its new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins, but it sounds like the popularity of V8-powered trucks is causing some supply-chain issues. Bloomberg reports that GM is experiencing a shortage of 5.3-liter V8 engines because an unnamed parts supplier has been unable to keep up with demand. This is leading GM to restrict the number of V8 Silverado and Sierra trucks that Chevrolet and GMC dealers are allowed to order.
Although it's unclear how long it will take to resolve the parts shortage, GM doesn't have much time to sort it out, as a new Ford F-150 looms on the horizon. At launch, GM's fullsize trucks were offered only with a base 4.3-liter V6 and the 5.3-liter V8, but a burlier 6.2-liter V8 will be available soon. Interestingly, at least at the moment, GM truck buyers don't seem as willing to downsize to V6 power as buyers of the F-150, which gets some 42-percent of its sales from trucks equipped with its EcoBoost V6 engine (not including the normally aspirated base V6).
Working out the kinks in the Silverado and Sierra's supply chain couldn't be more important to the health of the company. Full-size pickups are a huge profit driver - in 2012, the trucks were said to make up about two-third of GM's total profits.
2013 GMC Acadia priced from $34,875*
Wed, 12 Sep 2012For those who are interested in the reworked 2013 GMC Acadia, we now know how much you can look forward to forking over. Base MSRP for the 2013 version of the full-size, three-row crossover has been set at $34,875 (*not including a $825 destination charge). If you are interested in the range-topping Denali trim, be prepared to pay $46,770.
The 2013 Acadia will come standard with a backup camera, leather-wrapped steering wheel, USB port and recycled visuals from the now-dead Saturn Outlook.
Upping to the Denali trim gets you a head-up display, blind spot monitoring system and GMC's new Rear Cross Traffic Alert system. According to GMC, most trims will also receive IntelliLink connectivity as standard equipment. The Acadia will also get the industry's first front-center airbag, an innovation it shares with other Lambda-based crossovers like the refreshed 2013 Buick Enclave. The idea behind the new tube-shaped airbag is that it can provide a buffer between driver and front seat passenger in the event of an impact, or better hold the driver in place if he or she is alone.
OnStar RemoteLink mobile app coming standard on all new GM vehicles
Thu, 06 Jun 2013As an evolution and improvement of its OnStar technology, General Motors has announced that it will be expanding the RemoteLink Mobile App on most 2014 model year Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. The new, aptly named RemoteLink Key Fob Services will allow users to remotely operate all of the same systems as the car's key fob, including locking and unlocking the doors and remote starting (on vehicles equipped with a factory remote starter) using a smartphone.
These Key Fob Services will be free for five years - starting from the vehicle's delivery date - but the full suite of RemoteLink features will continue to be offered only with a subscription (trial or paid). These premium features include contacting a live adviser, getting turn-by-turn directions and remotely monitoring the vehicle's diagnostic systems.
