Your are bidding on a 2007 GMC Classic Sierra SLE 1500. This truck was bought new in August of 2006 by the current owner and is in excellent condition. If you are looking for a used truck this one is the closest to new that you will find. There are only 16,117 miles on this truck. The truck has been garage kept and has only seen rain a few times and has never been in the snow. There are no dents, ding, chips, or scratches on this truck. The title is clear and it has been in no accidents. The truck has not been used to haul trailers, or haul anything in the bed. The wheels are 20" american racing rims on 275-55 pirelli white letter tires. The wheels and tires have just under 1000 mile on them. The wheels have not seen rain or snow. Extras include running boards, a 2" leveling kit, flowmaster exhaust, a rear light bar, and a towing package. The truck has the factory c/d player. The interior is cloth and is in excellant condition as well. The truck has never been smoked in and the back seats have never been used. The regular inspection and maintenance of this truck has been done at every 3,000 miles by the dealerships along with an oil change and I have the documentation to prove that. There is nothing mechanically wrong with this truck. As far as shipment I am leaving that up to the buyer. However, we may be able to drive it shorter distances for a fee. Chevy Express 1500, GMC Savana 1500 get the axe
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Fans of truck-based, light-duty vans can officially pour one out for the Chevrolet Express 1500 and GMC Savana 1500, as General Motors has officially put its long-serving big/little rigs out to pasture. Things aren't quite as sad as they sound, though. The heavier-duty 2500 and 3500 vans will soldier on, in order to duke it out with the largest members of Ram ProMaster, Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter families.
The move does seem to make a lot of sense. According to GM, customers only purchase the 1500-spec Chevrolet 23 percent of the time, while the GMC captures a mere 7 percent of the Savana family's sales. With numbers like that, it's no shock that GM thinks it can shift some of its buyers into its van family's more capable variants. "We knew we could move a lot of our 1500 customers into 2500-series territory," said GM's Joe Langhauser, the product manager for the company's full-size vans.
It's not just simple sales figures dictating the move, though. The 1500 line is taking up some valuable factory space that will be better spent on an eagerly anticipated new product.
GM pushing back on proposed pickup and SUV brake recall [w/poll]
Tue, 08 Jul 2014Through the first six months of 2014, General Motors has recalled 29 million cars and trucks in 54 different actions. If your author's notoriously sketchy math is correct, that'd work out to one recall every 3.5 days (as of this writing). GM is actively fighting to make sure there isn't a 55th recall, though.
Safety critics, including perennial nemesis Clarence Ditlow of the Center for Auto Safety, are calling on GM to recall a further six million pickup trucks and SUVs in northerly climes due to corroding brake lines caused by the use of road salt. There is a catch, here, though - the vehicles in question are over 10 years old, and include the 1999 to 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, Suburban and GMC Sierra, as well as the 2000 to 2003 Tahoe and Yukon (shown above).

Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place.
