UP FOR SALE A 2002 GMC 2500HD DURAMAX DIESEL WITH ALLISON TRANSMISSION . I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THE TRUCK . THIS TRUCK WAS NEVER USED AS A WORK TRUCK . THE HEAVIEST THING THAT WAS IN THE BED WAS A LAWNMOWER . THIS TRUCK WAS NEVER PLOWED WITH . THIS TRUCK WAS GARAGE KEPT AND NEVER DRIVEN IN THE WINTER MONTHS . I USED TO PARK IT IN THE LATE FALL AND LEAVE IT IN A GARAGE UNTIL THE EARLY SPRING . I WOULD WAIT TILL ALL OF THE SALT RESIDUE WAS OFF OF THE ROADS BEFORE I WOULD START USING IT IN THE SPRING. ALL OF THE CHASSIS PICTURES ARE OF ORIGINAL PAINT ON TNHE FRAME . THERE IS STILL THE ORIGINAL FRAME WAX ON THE FRAME NO RUST AT ALL COME AND INSPECT IF YOU LIKE . TRUCK WAS NEVER SMOKED IN . TRUCK HAS BRAND NEW MICHELIN TIRES WITH UNDER 500 MILES ON THEM . IN 2009 I HAD A FIFTH WHEEL PUT IN THE TRUCK THAT IS THE ONLY TIME THE TRUCK EVER PULLED ANYTHING OTHER THAN A WAVERUNNER . I ONLY PULL MY CAMPER ON AVERAGE 5 TIMES A YEAR SO THE TRUCK HAS VERY LITTLE PULLING TIME ON IT . I ALWAYS DID SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE BEFORE IT WAS DUE . TRUCK RUNS GREAT LIKE NEW I WOULD DRIVE IT ANYWHERE WITHOUT HESITATION . THE ONLY MODIFICATIONS TO THIS TRUCK IS THE TOWING/CAMPING MIRRORS WITH LED TURN SIGNALS AND HEAT . THE SIDE RUNNING BOARDS THAT ARE STAINLESS. THE MUD FLAPS . AND THE SPRAY IN BED LINER . THIS TRUCK WAS ALSO NEVER OFF ROAD OR IN THE MUD . THE FIFTH WHEEL THAT IS IN THE PICTURE DOES NOT GO WITH THE TRUCK . THE ONLY REASON THAT I AM SELLING THIS TRUCK IS BECAUSE I BOUGHT A NEW PICKUP AND IT IS ALSO A DURAMAX . 2015 Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon airbag problem causes recall

The recall affects 2,432 vehicles, though only 138 had actually reached consumers.
General Motors quickly fixed an airbag-wiring problem with the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, but is still conducting a small recall to repair the midsize trucks that are launching this fall.
Ward's releases 10 Best Interiors list for 2014
Thu, 10 Apr 2014While we're still a ways off from the automotive awards season proper, where things like North American Car and Truck of the Year, Motor Trend's Car of the Year and Car and Driver's Ten Best are named, that doesn't mean there aren't trophies being handed out to deserving automakers. Ward's 10 Best Interiors being one of them.
As the name might imply, the magazine focuses on the very best interior treatments in the US market. Whereas some awards purposely exclude extreme, high-dollar offerings, Ward's considers them - the only requirement is that a vehicle has a "new or significantly redesigned interior."
Ward's offered up the list of winners in simple, alphabetical order, and it only seems fair to do the same:
2014 GMC Sierra 4.3L V6 to offer segment-best 305 LB-FT
Mon, 06 May 2013General Motors has released more information on the 4.3-liter V6 available in the 2014 GMC Sierra. The engine will serve up 285 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque, with a six-speed automatic transmission, and giving the V6 Sierra a maximum tow rating of 7,200 pounds in regular cab, short bed four-wheel drive configuration. GM claims that figure is 500 pounds more than the equivalent Ford F-150 equipped with a 3.7-liter V6, and 700 pounds more than the Ram 1500 with its 3.6-liter V6. Buyers can expect to see the 2014 GMC Sierra with the 4.3-liter engine start at $25,085 including destination.
While the engine does deliver more torque than either of its main competitors, it falls short on the horsepower front. The 3.7-liter V6 in the F-150 develops 302 hp while the 3.6-liter V6 in the Ram 1500 yields 305 hp. GM says fuel economy estimates for its newest entry will land later this year.
