THIS IS A 2011 GMC DENALI 3500 4WD DURAMAX WITH ALLISON TRANSMISSION. I HAVE DID ALOT TO THIS TRUCK AND REALLY LOVE IT BUT ITS TIME TO SELL IT. TRUCK HAS ALL OPTIONS INCLUDING ONSTAR, HEATED AND COOLED POWER SEATS, BACK UP CAMERA, NAVIGATION WITH DVD AND REAR ENTERTAINMENT, HEATED STEERING WHEEL, SUNROOF, BUILT IN TRAILER BRAKE CONTROLLER. EVERY FACTORY OPTION AVAILABLE IS ON IT. NOW, FOR WHAT I HAVE DONE TO IT. IT HAS AMERICAN FORCE SHIFT 22 IN ALL TERRAIN WHEELS WITH NITTO 285/50/22 TIRES ON IT ($9000 NEW), IT HAS THE H&S PROGRAMMER ($1500) THAT DELETES ALL THE DEF,DPF COMPLETELY OFF THE TRUCK. GM phasing out light-duty 1500-series vans
Mon, 16 Jun 2014In the market for a fullsize van but don't need a heavy-duty model? You're in the minority, and you're also out of luck. That's because there are barely any more fullsize vans on the market with gross vehicle weight rating of less than 8,500 pounds, the threshold that separates light- and heavy-duty vans.
According to PickupTrucks.com, neither the Ford E-Series, Ram ProMaster, nor Mercedes-Benz Sprinter are available in light-duty versions. Few of the Ford Transit configurations are, either, and now General Motors is discontinuing production of the 1500-series Chevy Express and GMC Savana.
Apparently light-duty versions accounted for just 23 percent of Express sales and only 7 percent of Savanas. Add to that the fact that these 1500 versions were the only ones using the old generation of engines and suspension, and that the Wentzville plant near St. Louis, Missouri, is trying to make room for the next Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups, and the fate of the light-duty GM van was sealed.
GM recalls 51k Enclave, Traverse, Acadia crossovers over fuel gauge inaccuracy
Mon, 05 May 2014With all eyes fixed on General Motors in the wake of the ignition recall debacle, the auto giant has been carefully calling in a wide array of vehicles to fix anything and everything that could prove problematic. Just the other day it issued two separate recalls - one concerning the Cadillac SRX and another its heavy-duty pickups - and now it is issuing another.
This time the vehicles in question are the Buick Enclave, Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia, three fullsize crossovers based on GM's Lambda platform. In an estimated 51,640 units manufactured between March 26 and August 15, 2013, the engine control module has been found to incorrectly display the level of fuel in the tank.
As a result, owners are being notified to bring their vehicles in to their local dealers to have the ECU reflashed to fix the problem. View the full details in the announcement below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
