Only 8300 Miles With An 8.1 Vortec And An Allison Trans, With Bed And Hoist.. on 2040-cars
Eudora, Kansas, United States
2005 GMC 1 Ton dually with only 8300 miles. This is a perfect condition inside and out truck, with an 8100 series Vortec motor and an Allison transmission, a Parkhurst steel bed with smooth floor and removable sides. Harsh electric single cylinder hoist and below bed delta strong box for extra storage. This truck has been garage kept and still smells new inside. The bed sides have been lined with plywood to keep from being dented and to allow for easy material sliding out. The harsh electric hoist is a RL-C20, Tire condition is that for a 8300 mile vehicle, so basically new. Everything works like new. This truck will not be a cheap sale, but if you are looking for a 1Ton dually with low miles at half the price of a new one then this one is for you, I promise you, you will not be disappointed in this truck.

2015 GMC Canyon gets the party started [w/video]
Sun, 12 Jan 2014The 2014 Detroit Auto Show press days officially kick off tomorrow, but the night before all the madness commences, General Motors drove its new 2015 GMC Canyon pickup truck out for all to see. To refresh your memory, the Canyon is GMC's new midsize pickup - essentially a re-skinned version of the Chevrolet Colorado that debuted at the LA Auto Show in November.
Many of us at Autoblog prefer the look of the larger GMC Sierra to that of its Chevy Silverado kin, and we're having similar feelings about the new Canyon, especially after seeing it in person. It's sort of a pint-sized version of the Sierra, and it looks great. Clean lines are found throughout, and the Canyon's styling is decidedly premium.
At launch, the Canyon will be offered with the same engines as the Colorado - a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine with 193 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque on the base end, and a larger 3.6-liter V6 with 302 hp and 270 lb-ft as an option. The Colorado's 2.8-liter diesel inline four-cylinder will be available after launch. Both two- and four-wheel drive configurations will be available, depending on the model.

GMC boss wants a Jeep Wrangler rival
Wed, 12 Nov 2014Challengers come and challengers go, but the Jeep Wrangler continues to push forward even after vehicles like the Toyota FJ Cruiser and the entire Hummer brand have been shut down. Now GMC reportedly wants to take a stab at the quintessential Jeep, as well.
The news comes directly from Buick-GMC vice president Duncan Aldred, speaking with our compatriots over at Edmunds. Although Aldred said there are no plans currently on the table to expand GMC's lineup beyond the current range, "there is plenty of room everywhere in the hierarchy."
That could include a rival to the Wrangler, as well as a flagship luxury SUV positioned above the current Yukon Denali (pictured above). Just when (or for that matter, if) such models might come into fruition remains a big question mark, but it's certainly interesting to see what GM's dedicated truck brand has on the drawing board.
