This is a 2002 Yukon XL 2500 4 wheel drive SUV. It has capacity for nine adults (three rows of three). It comes with the heavy duty towing package, which includes a heavy duty trailer hitch, transmission cooler and wiring for an in-cab trailer brake system. Mechanical condition is good. Tires still have decent tread.
Interior bench seats are cloth, all three across. It has a black vinyl floor for very easy to clean up spills and no more dirty carpet. Interior was recently professionally detailed and shampooed.
Only 128,500 miles.
Car sold as is.
This is a very powerful vehicle, capable of towing tremendous weight. It would be perfect for a large family that is looking for a safe reliable vehicle, or for a tradesman looking for a powerful work or plowing vehicle.
Full payment (PAYPAL ONLY) upon the winning bid. No exceptions.
I will not deliver so it must be picked up in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. I will work with a shipping company to coordinate a pickup at my property.
There are no major mechanical problems with the car as far as I know. Currently the dome light does not come on when opening the driver door, the rear passenger side window is slow to roll up due to a weak power window motor, and the fan does not blow on the next to highest setting. All other functions, options and items in the vehicle are working well to the best of my knowledge
The body has a number of smaller dents and scratches, and a very small amount of rust.
This has been the family car for a number of years, and has proven to be reliable and comfortable.
I am a 100% ebayer for many years and pride myself on my business ethics and honesty. Buy with confidence!

GM also sheds parts from its pickups to boost payload ratings
Thu, 31 Jul 2014The row between Ford and Ram over who boasts the best-in-class tow rating for heavy duty pickups has revealed a number of things. Chief among them is a report that Ford removes items like the spare tire, jack, radio and center console from its vehicles in a bid to lower its base curb weight and therefore keep the truck's gross vehicle weight rating down.
For those that need a refresher, GVWR is the vehicle's curb weight plus its maximum payload. A lower GVWR allows Ford to station its F-450 among the so-called Class III pickups, despite the fact that internally, it has the makings of a more brutish Class IV truck.
Ford explains away these deletions, saying a customer could order their vehicle in such a manner. It has also come to light that Ford is not the only automaker to engage in such practices.
Roadkill pits every project car against each other
Sat, 22 Feb 2014The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.
GM recalling 118K Colorado, Canyon pickups over missing hood latches
Thu, 20 Dec 2012General Motors has announced a recall of 118,800 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup trucks due to the possibility of secondary hood latches not being installed at the time of manufacture. The affected vehicles are from the 2010, 2011 and 2012 model years, all of which were built between November 9, 2009 and August 28, 2012.
According to the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, these trucks fail to "comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 113, 'Hood Latch System.' The hood may be missing the secondary hood latch." In other words, owners of these trucks could find their vehicles' hoods opening unexpectedly while driving.
The official recall campaign is expected to begin on January 17, 2013. Dealers will inspect the affected pickups and if a secondary hood latch is not present, one will be installed free of charge. Scroll down to read the official NHTSA report.
