2003 Gmc Yukon Denali Xl 1500 Sport Utility 4-door 6.0l on 2040-cars
Dayton, Ohio, United States
You are bidding on a strong running 2003 Denali XL with a 6.0 liter engine and good tranny. These motors last forever ,it seems like, and there are no leaks. The paint is very nice with scratches and dings as expected with a 10 year old vehicle but there is absolutely NO RUST. This is a Texas truck!! It is a smoke free vehicle with a decent interior. I would give the interior a 7 and can be even better with a good detail. There is some peeling on the glove box door, a little on the dash, and some on the center console as most GMC's are like that. Options include power seats, windows, locks, cruise, cassette, CD, CD changer, dual climate control, rear a/c and heat, heated seats, heated mirrors, DVD, adjustable pedals, memory seat, tow package, running boards, luggage rack, On Star and more. It also have two sets of keyless remotes and keys.
The CD changer doesn't respond to the radio for some reason. The radio has a cassette and single CD and is a factory GM stereo but not sure if it is original. The changer does accept and eject CDs. I took a pic of the worst paint spot on the driver door where it has been touched up. Overall this SUV is a strong 7 of 10. It is a very clean Denali for it's age.
Please ask questions before bidding. I recommend having an inspection done or coming to see the vehicle in person and I will do my best to answer questions and provide more pictures if needed.
Winner to pay a $500 deposit within 24 hrs and it is local pick up only. Thanks for looking and good luck! |

Who sold the most heavy-duty pickups in 2012? PickupTrucks.com investigates
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Domestic manufacturers enjoyed a good year for heavy-duty pickup sales in 2012. PickupTrucks.com has taken a close look at exactly how those sales broke down between each manufacturer and between three-quarter and one-ton pickups. Ford sold some 67,786 F-250 Super Duty models last year with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD falling just behind at 56,359 units. The Ram 2500 HD came in third at 41,918, while the GMC Sierra 2500 HD earned itself fourth place with 27,616 deliveries. While Ford held onto the top spot in the one-ton market, Ram easily nailed down second place by selling more 3500 HD models last year than General Motors sold Silverado 3500 HD and Sierra 3500 HD trucks combined.
So, did GM manage to sell more trucks than Ford with its two brands? Very nearly. Ford sold a total of 119,338 heavy-duty pickups to GM's 111,555. Ram, meanwhile, moved a distant 77,583. But perhaps more interesting is the diesel take rate in this segment. PickupTrucks.com says 80 percent of all domestic one-ton trucks roll from the dealer lot with a turbo-diesel under the hood. Head over to the site for a closer look at the breakdown.
Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon midsize pickup trucks to get diesel engines
Tue, 27 Aug 2013The market for midsize pickup trucks has all but been abandoned in the US, but General Motors is about to shake the market up with the all-new (to the US) Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. Launching next year, GM already told us that its new trucks would be a "fuel-efficient alternative" to fullsize trucks, and aside from the smaller size, Automotive News says that these trucks will accomplish this with a diesel engine.
According to the AN report, the next-gen Colorado and Canyon will offer a small, four-cylinder Duramax turbo diesel with a displacement of either 2.5 or 2.8 liters - both engines are currently used in this truck for other markets. This would allow GM to join the Cummins-powered Nissan Titan and Ram 1500 EcoDiesel as the only non-HD trucks in the US to offer diesel. The article goes on to say that the diesel versions of the Colorado and Canyon would launch about a year after the trucks go into production in fall of 2014.
New J.D. Power Initial Quality Study puts Porsche, GM in spotlight
Wed, 19 Jun 2013J.D. Power and Associates has released its annual Initial Quality Study, and this year, Porsche and General Motors took the spotlight. The study, which asks new car owners to report problems experienced during the first 90 days of ownership, found that overall, the industry averages 113 problems per 100 vehicles.
Porsche managed a score of just 80 problems per 100 vehicles, while GMC took the second spot on the podium with 90. Lexus filled out the top three with 94 problems per 100 vehicles, followed by Infiniti at 95 and Chevrolet at 97. The study also looks at specific models, and found the Lexus LS to enjoy the best initial quality at 59 problems per 100 vehicles.
Interestingly enough, the report found that around two-thirds of most owner problems experienced in the first 90 days are attributable to vehicle design instead of mechanical failure. Specifically - echoing a refrain we've been hearing for the last few years - owners are having a hard time figuring out how to use the technology present in their new vehicles. Head over to the J.D. Power site for more information, or scroll down below for the company's related press release.
