I've had this car for 3 years and it's always run well. I've kept up on all of the maintenance and have receipts from all of the upkeep. In the last 6 months I've replaced the tires, brake pads and rotors, ball joints, windshield, added a new CD player, and had Honda do a trans flush. It is a '99, so it's not in perfect shape. Some rust is starting by the rear bumper and the previous owner must have been clipped because the passenger's side is dented in a little. There is no structural damage to it and I've tried to take pictures of the side so that you have a good idea of how it looks. The interior is in good shape. There are 2 small scratches in the leather on the back seat, but overall it looks good. The trunk door handle used to be hard to open, but some WD-40 seems to have fixed that. The lock on the front driver's side door was getting stuck (in the unlock position) last winter, then worked for a long time, and now stuck again today when we went out to take the pictures. I'm not sure exactly what was/is causing that.

Honda and Mario Andretti cite pedestrians for excessive slowness
Thu, 05 Jun 2014Honda and the Andretti family have a lot to celebrate at the moment. Andretti Autosport driver Ryan Hunter-Reay won the 2014 Indianapolis 500 in his Honda-powered car, and Marco Andretti, Mario's grandson, also managed to take the third step on the podium. Apparently, the victory is making them feel magnanimous because Honda and Mario Andretti are giving the chance to ride with him in a two-seat, open wheel car.
To promote the contest, they created the Honda Speed Patrol to ticket anyone going too slow. It's an interesting idea, and the chance to ride with Andretti would be the opportunity of a lifetime. Perhaps the biggest shock of the video, though, might be when you realize how short Mario is when you see him milling about in public. Scroll down to watch one of America's most respected racers cite people in Chicago for being too slow.

Honda showcases the letter R in cool new ad campaign
Sun, 02 Nov 2014Okay Honda, you've won the Internet for the week. This cool "double-sided" video, featuring the new Civic and Civic Type R Concept, is one of the more interesting YouTube spots we've seen.
On the surface, "The Other Side" shows a regular dad, simply going about his day and picking his daughter's up from school. But press the "R" key while watching the video, and it transitions into an alternate video. The dad is now in a Civic Type R Concept, and he's not on the school run. Instead, he's involved in something... a bit more devious.
We won't spoil the ending, but suffice it to say, you'll want to watch this video through to its conclusion. Also, because of the unique nature of this video, we can't embed it here, so you'll need to hop over to Honda's UK YouTube channel.
