After fully restoring the car to original condition for use as a daily driver, I have decided I need something larger for every day duties. My loss will be someone else's gain.

1989 CRX Si
60,605 miles.
No rust anywhere on the car.

Everything works as new, including factory AC.

The car has power locks installed with keyless entry.

I have had an HF style rear cargo mat made in berber, as you can see pictured, in part to protect the cargo cover which is in excellent condition and I have in storage.

All four speakers are new Pioneers, and I have had a JVC deck with USB, a remote etc installed. I do have the original radio as well in storage which works perfectly.

New wheels and the tires are barely used. I do not have the original rims.

Too many new parts to list, all professionally installed. See below for details and please note all parts are purchased at cost as I am a wholesale parts supplier. Highlights include a timing belt and water pump at 54k miles, new alternator, belts, brakes and hardware front and rear, all new shocks and suspension, clutch, clutch cable and hardware, all ignition items, sunroof seal, new master cylinder, all fluids, etc etc.

All the above items were done with the intention of bringing the car back to its original driving condition, and I feel as though I have achieved this result. It rides and drives beautifully, and makes a great highway car. It returns close to 40 mpg.

Clean Carfax and mileage correct.

The body is in excellent condition with original paint. There is no rust anywhere on the vehicle, including the underbody.
There are three cosmetic flaws on the body:
1. A dent about the size of a dime on the hood.
2. The right rear wheel-well had a rust spot taken out professionally in 2008, and the difference in paint color between 1989 and 2008 is just slightly able to be seen at the edges.
3. There is a small door ding underneath the drivers door trim.

The interior is immaculate including the seats.

The car has just passed a rigorous out of province inspection available upon request.

This is a great example of an 89 Si. I know its not mint. Please don't try to convince me I'm asking too much as if the car does not sell for the stated price I will simply have to keep it given the investment made.

Honda Civic Tourer sports forbidden facelift

Tue, 29 Jul 2014

Following up on a sextet of spy photos from June, we now have another batch of images of the facelifted Euro-spec Honda Civic undergoing testing in the United Kingdom. There's a bit more sheetmetal to this particular prototype, though, as our spy photographers have caught the upcoming Tourer model (pronounced "wagon" among us Yanks).
Like the hatchback we showed you last month, the new Tourer benefits from the same set of styling tweaks inspired by the Civic Type R Concept from March's Geneva Motor Show. That means it boasts a revised front fascia, albeit with a more heavily camouflaged version of the grille shown in last month's photos. It's a similar story below, where the intakes on this long-roof model wear more disguise, yet look to be virtually identical to what we've already seen.
While the headlights still look to be a straight lift from last month's car, the more upright nature of the Tourer's tailgate demands a more subdued character. Gone are the thin, curvy LED taillights, and in their place sit significantly more substantial units (with conventional bulbs), although they boast none of the design chutzpah shown on our last round of spy photos. Our spies claim LED taillights will be available, noting that they simply aren't fitted to this particular prototype, a distinction that suggests this is a lower-end model.

Honda Super Cub first vehicle to receive 3D trademark in Japan

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

The term "iconic" gets thrown around a lot, but if there was ever a design worthy of the honorific, surely it's the Honda Super Cub. That's not just our opinion, though: it's the official word from the Japanese Patent Office, which has recognized the classic scooter's shape with a three-dimensional trademark.
The category was introduced in Japan back in 1997 to immortalize distinctive designs, and is subject to very strict criteria. In fact, this marks the first time it has been applied to a vehicle - and one of the few industrial products to be awarded the recognition.
Little wonder it was applied to this little wonder, too. With over 87 million units made since its introduction in 1958, Honda claims the Super Cub to be "the world's largest selling vehicle," with production taking place at 15 factories in 14 countries and sales in 160 markets around the world.

Honda announces 2015 Pilot Special Edition

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

Honda doesn't have any exciting new mechanical or aesthetic changes for the 2015 Pilot eight-passenger crossover, but it is adding a new trim level to give families a compromise between the EX and EX-L models.
The new Special Edition trim is available on either the front-wheel or all-wheel drive versions of the Pilot, and it adds Pewter Gray aluminum wheels, a power moonroof, a rear seat entertainment DVD system and Sirius XM radio. Prices come to $33,950 for the two-wheel drive version, after the $830 destination charge, or $35,550 for all-wheel drive after destination.
Prices for the rest of the trims are up $200 over last year, and they all still come standard with remote entry, a rearview camera and Class III trailer hitch. Power is still provided by a 3.5-liter V6 with 250 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque with a five-speed automatic. Fuel economy is unchanged as expected with front-wheel drive models rated at 18 miles per gallon city, 25 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined, and four-wheel drive models make 1 mpg less at 17 mpg city, 24 mpg highway and 20 mpg combined. Scroll down to read the official release.
