I have for sale my 1991 Honda Civic Wagon.

Includes a recent imported SOHC ZC engine with 40-60k miles from a reputable importer in California.

recent parts include:

$1000 Air Conditioning system / car never came with ac from the factory
Honda OEM clutch
new OEM front bushings
OEM wheel front bearings
Honda OEM muffler
Many more parts added throughout the years, over $3000 in receipts

It has the original transmission that works perfectly.

The wagon has 128000 miles currently and has many more years/miles ahead of it. Never in an accident, purchased from original owner.

It gets excellent gas mileage in a fun to drive car with cargo room that rivals many SUV's!

A non-smoker car (both owners!)

and now the bad:

When I first got the car in 2008 I made a complete rust inspection. I cut out a small piece of rusted rocker panel, treated the area with Por-15 and packed it with fiberglass. I'm confident it stopped it in it's tracks. The rear drivers side panel behind the rear bumper was treated as well. I check every year and there are no issues. Por-15 is what the pros use and has been proven to work!

There's a shimmy present at 80+MPH. I recently replaced a front broken spring and it improved greatly but just noticed yesterday that it's still there. In some highways it seems better or worse.

The antenna broke off.

The rear window spray washer is not working.

The hood and roof clear coat is heavily faded.

Overall a great car!

Thanks for looking.

Honda accused of not reporting all airbag problems

Fri, 17 Oct 2014

The Takata airbag recall that has afflicted a number of automakers may have just taken a very bad turn for Honda, which has already recalled over one million vehicles. Clarence Ditlow and the Center for Auto Safety have accused the Japanese manufacturer of failing to report two "injury-and-death" incidents. To determine just what happened, the company has initiated a third-party audit.
According to Bloomberg, CAS claims Honda failed to report fatalities in 2009 and 2013, a point Honda doesn't seem to contest, indicating that it didn't report so-called "verbal claims."
"It is our understanding that some manufacturers choose to include these types of verbal claims, and that these constitute the majority of the injury-and-death claims that they report to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration," the company told Bloomberg via email. "We believe this practice accounts for the vast majority of the difference between the total number of injury-and-death claims reported by Honda compared to certain other manufacturers."

2013 Honda Accord Coupe V6 6MT

Fri, 21 Dec 2012

One of the first cars I reviewed for Autoblog was - say it with me now - a 2010 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 w/Navi 6MT, perhaps the rarest of all modern Accord models. I mean, think about it: Of all the different Accord variants on the road, how many are coupes? And how many of those have the larger V6 engine? And how many of those are fully loaded with leather, navigation and all the trimmings? And finally, how many of those have option sheets where the only box that isn't checked is the automatic transmission?
That has to be something like one percent of one percent, right?
So when Honda started rolling its all-new 2013 Accord into the test fleet, I was happy to hear that yet another Coupe EX-L V6 w/Navi 6MT model was available out of the Detroit pool. And while this really isn't the car that serves as the control for judging the entire Accord line, it's still one heck of a sweetheart.

Honda NM4 concept motorcycles channel Akira

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

Honda has rolled out a pair of new motorcycle concepts at the Osaka Motorcycle Show in its home market of Japan, and they're our first glimpse at the company's "neo-futuristic" NM4. Shown in both stealthy black and an eye-catching white, the NM4s are sharp creations that feature interesting riding positions.
Honda calls the concepts' seating "the cockpit position," claiming that it unifies bike with rider. We don't know about that, but we will admit that compared to most sportbike seats - which are more or less just bits of padding to squeeze between your legs - these bikes' saddles look more or less like conventional seats. Honda says that their backrests are adjustable, which should provide a comfortable riding experience. Still, with these bikes' sporting looks, we can't imagine their low seats are going to be great for dipping knees through the bends (although the should lower the center of gravity, so perhaps it's a wash).
Both show bikes, NM4-01 and NM4-02, are powered by 745-cc, two-cylinder engines, while dual-clutch transmissions are employed to dispatch unspecified amounts of power to their wide rear tires. The bikes are nearly identical save for different colors, but the NM4-02 features an integral set of hard panniers for increased utility. We've got a gallery of both, so hop up above and take a look. You can also scroll down for a brief press release from Honda.
