Pomona, New York, United States
PERFECT COMMUTER/FIST CAR/RELIABLE LONG DISTANCE CRUISER. This car is for a buyer that is looking to have something GREAT ON GAS, DEPENDABLE, that WILL NOT RUIN YOUR WALLET without having to care that much about the exterior appearance (anymore).... Pluses: -ONE OWNER vehicle. -SERVICED at Honda service. -CLEAN CARFAX. -RELIABLE -NEW TIRES -Solid drive without strange or suspicious noises. -NO VIBRATIONS, nor unusual rattles. -LOW MILEAGE (less than 8k miles a year) -FUN to drive. -RETAINS its VALUE -CLEAN Interior -NEVER in an accident. -INEXPENSIVE to maintain (or fix... it is Honda though, therefore you can probably ignore the "fix" part) -... you won't cry when scratched for the first time.... :) Minuses: Scratches on the hood, roof, trunk due to previous (original) owner removing snow with inappropriate tools (grrrrrr.) Pictures show all of them. Scratches on the front bumper (both corner- edges) and rear bumper. Couple of quarter-sized dents. Bottom line: Great car with original owner being careless enough to diminish its value by damaging the original paint. You are presented with any opportunity to acquire great product at reduced price due to cosmetic blemishes only. HAPPY BIDDING!!! Feel free to contact me with any additional questions. Honda confirms 2014 Odyssey and Acura MDX for New York
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Look beneath the seats of a Honda Odyssey and you'll likely find a handful of that iconic loop cereal loved by toddlers nationwide. And to show that Honda understands its minivan's target market, it is using the breakfast staple to announce its plans to reveal the updated 2014 model at next week's New York Auto Show. While the announcement is creative, it unfortunately lacks much in the way of information, leaving us with little more than a vague teaser alluding to "some innovative new features."
As expected, Honda has also confirmed we will see the production version of the 2014 Acura MDX in New York. We expect the 2014 MDX to look very much like the prototype we saw in January at the Detroit Auto Show with only slight differences. The 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 will be offered with all-wheel drive or, in a first for MDX, front-wheel drive.
You'll find the official press snippets for both below, and we'll have live images and details on both from the New York show. Until then... Cheerio!
Honda motorcycles most stolen, just like Honda autos
Tue, 26 Nov 2013It comes as no surprise that Honda's Civic and Accord are the most stolen cars in America, but as it turns out, thieves like the company's motorcycles the most too, according to a study by the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). Out of the 46,061 two-wheelers stolen in 2012, 9,082 of them were Hondas. While that's bad news for Honda motorcycle owners, at least motorcycle theft went down slightly from 2011, which had 46,667 reported thefts. Motorcycle theft recoveries, on the other hand, were just 39 percent.
Yamaha is up next in the theft rankings (7,517), then Suzuki (7,017). The numbers drop a bit for fourth and fifth place, Kawasaki (4,839) and Harley-Davidson (3,755). These five brands are far and away the most stolen motorcycles: sixth place, apparently held by scooter, dirtbike and ATV maker Taotao, dropped to 914 theft reports.
California had the most reported thefts (6,082), followed by Florida (4,110), Texas (3,400), North Carolina (2,574) and Indiana (2,334). By city, New York City had the most reported thefts (903), followed by Las Vegas (757), San Diego (633), Indianapolis (584) and Miami (535.
Honda Civic Tourer caught testing ahead of 2014 launch
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Honda showed off its Civic Tourer concept at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and at that time, we were told that a production version would be coming to market in the very near future. Obviously, the sleek lines of the concept car will be dumbed down slightly for consumers, but that doesn't mean the Civic wagon will be a bland machine. The Euro-spec Civic's angular front end looks like it will blend nicely with the rakish rump that we saw on the concept.
Our sources suggest that not only will the Civic Tourer be a class-leader in terms of cargo capacity, but it will likely be a pretty engaging car from behind the wheel, as well. Honda is hoping that the Tourer will account for roughly 20 percent of all European Civic sales after it goes on sale.
Expect to see the production car debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September, with the first customers taking delivery in early 2014. In the meantime, have a look at the camouflaged swoopy wagon from all angles in our gallery above.
