 2011 Honda Civic LX
Rare 5 speed transmission
THIS IS NOT AN SI! its a 1.8L with the 5 speed trans LOWER INSURANCE!
This is a sedan, 4 doors
It has factory mudflaps, help keep the car clean since its white.
It has aftermarket XENON headlights, and LED tail light bulbs. Nothing else was touched.
Interior is relatively clean, its only 2 years old.
Just under 34000 miles. I use it for work so its going up.
Currently its a lease, but my new job is putting over 500 miles a week on it and I dont want to pay overages when it runs out. I am taking a hit on the actual value of the car to save me the excessive fees from Honda. You get a great car at a great price, without dealing with honda.

Still has factory bumper to bumper warranty until 3yr/36k miles, and 10yr/100k miles on drivetrain/engine.

Car will show an accident on record, was side swiped by an altima in traffic. Everything was replaced with OEM parts. Replaced right mirror, front fender and front door and some trim pieces. I have pictures of the damage before and after. It was purely cosmetic and you cant tell anything ever happened.

Other than that, heres the pics and message me with questions.

I can drop car off locally within 30 miles. Needs to be on a SUNDAY or TUESDAY. CAN NOT any other day. If you want to pickup here, daily before 5pm, or anytime sunday and tuesday. I do have a shipping company, open trailer for $750 anywhere on east coast. I can give you information for them, and you take care of that.

Honda is first Japanese carmaker to be a net-exporter from US

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

Over the last decade or so, many foreign automakers have challenged the idea of what defines an "American car," but Honda took things a step further last year by exporting more cars out of the US than it imported in. Reuters is reporting that in 2013, a total of 108,705 Honda and Acura models were exported from the US with only 88,357 being shipped in. This gives Honda a net exporter status here, and makes it the first of such among the major Japanese automakers.
Honda's US imports have been dropping over the last five years while its exports have been steadily increasing. In 2008, the report indicates that Honda shipped 187,000 vehicles to the US and exported only 20,000, and even by 2012 Honda still favored imports with 136,000 imports and 74,000 exports. The article says that US-made Honda and Acura vehicles were exported to 50 countries with most ending up in Mexico, but the big news is that the Honda's US production set a record in 2013 with 1.3 million units built.

McLaren collaborating with Honda future road cars?

Fri, 02 Aug 2013

McLaren and Honda may expand their alliance beyond the world of Formula 1, according a report from the UK's Autocar, which quotes McLaren CEO Martin Whitmarsh.
Citing the multi-year deal, Whitmarsh remarked at last weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix, "It's a pure Formula 1 contract, but we've already been looking at automotive technology and we're sharing that very openly. Our road car strategy at the moment has no other automotive partner and Honda would be a good place to collaborate."
Still, we wouldn't count on seeing a McLaren-Honda road car in the near future. According to Autocar, McLaren's road-car division is already tied up working on a rival for the Porsche 911, called the P13.

Honda Civic Type R Concept hits the ground running ahead of Geneva debut

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

We've seen it teased, caught it testing, hell, we've even driven the thing, but until just now, we hadn't been privy to the visual drama that is the all-new Honda Civic Type R Concept. Thankfully, the day before the start of the Geneva Motor Show is about as leaky as Robert Redford's sailboat.
We'll get the full details tomorrow - which may even include a discourse on Honda's 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that will make upwards of 280 horsepower and propel the car to Nürburgring-record-braking velocities. After all, the "Concept" portion of most Honda concept cars is generally lip-service only.
In fact, save for those blacked out windows and, perhaps, a couple millimeters of ride height and those extra-aggro wheels, we pretty much expect the production Type R to look like the beast you see here. Certainly the swooping form and 'roided wheel arches suit the boy-racer persona of the Civic very well; we wouldn't even put it past Honda's funky European arm to sell the final product with some version of that bi-plane wing.
