2003 Honda Element Ex Awd 4wd Sport Utility 4-door 2.4l on 2040-cars

Year:2003 Mileage:193000
Location:

I am selling my 03 honda element EX all wheel drive because I just got a new car. I am the second owner and the car has a clean title current tags in my name. I have done a ton of recent maintenance including:

New Ft lower ball joints.
New Front inner control arm bushings.
New Front motor mount.
New Transmission side motor mount.
New Tie rod ends.
New OEM NGK iridium spark plugs.
New CD player with hands free bluetooth and AUX in.
New set of struts front and rear, not installed yet. (see pic)
All maintenance done including rear differential fluid.

Car has 193k miles and will easily go another 200k no problem. Everything works, ac is cold no leaks, runs and drives great.  My daily driver.

Cons:
Hood needs to be repainted. The sheet metal is all original honda with original VIN stickers. But the hood and tops of the front fenders need to be painted if you want the car to be perfect. The rest of the paint is fine with the exception of a few dings. Previous owner told me the hood had been repainted.  But it is the original hood so the damage must have been negligible.

Front seats are cracking as they do in every Element.

Rear tires are new but front tires need to be replaced, they are pretty bald.

Windshield is original and has a crack that does not obstruct view.

Front struts should be replaced as they make a little noise, New front and rear struts are included in auction.

Or just leave it and drive it as is, The AWD system works flawless and I average about 24 mpg city and 26 mpg Hwy. So not bad for such a large vehicle. Clean title is in hand in my name and registration is current and good for another few months..2 sets of keys with remotes..I am in whittier during the week mon-fri 10-7 and in venice nights and weekends if you want to take a test drive....Getting offers outside of ebay, so auction may end without notice... Thanks  Ryan...email a phone number and Ill call you back.

Honda integrating Siri into select models

Wed, 30 Jan 2013

Honda has partnered up with Apple to bring Siri to the Accord, Acura RDX and ILX. Owners who have an iPhone running iOS 6 will be able to ask the software to perform a number of tasks via voice command using the vehicle's on board microphone and speaker systems. What's more, the tech will put the iPhone into an "eyes free" mode, which turns the screen off to help reduce distraction while driving. Honda says it has reworked its Bluetooth and HandsFreeLink systems to accommodate the Siri functionality. While the tech will only be available on three of the company's models right now, we imagine it won't be long before it shows up elsewhere.
As you may recall, Chevrolet integrated Siri into its products with vehicles like the Spark and Sonic, but Mercedes-Benz and Chrysler have also toyed with the tech to varying degrees. The seamless voice command seems to be light years ahead of the tech manufacturers are currently playing with. Check out the full press release from Honda below for more information.

2015 Honda Fit set for Detroit reveal

Thu, 19 Dec 2013

We've got one more debut confirmed for next month's Detroit Auto Show, as Honda has announced that it will be showing off the 2015 Fit in the Motor City. Honda has released a singular image of the new Fit's rear taillight, above.
From the sole image, we can see that the American-spec Fit will share at least its taillights with the Japanese variant, which we've helpfully included an image of to the right. Now, technically, the blue car to the right is the Fit Hybrid, a car we aren't expecting to see in the US market. But the gallery of images we've included below should give those interested in the car a very good idea of what the new Fit will look like when it hits the auto show stage next month.
As for what will be under hood when it debuts in January, Honda is touting its Earth Dreams Technology engine, which we take to mean some sort of four-cylinder, gas-powered mill. Expect excellent fuel economy from the new car, and according to the Japanese brand, "leading-edge connected car technologies."

Honda issues bizarre non-recall on Odyssey over badge placement

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

Without looking under the hood or at a vehicle history report, one of the easiest way to tell if a car has had body work done is to check the location and placement of the exterior badges. A crooked, misplaced or missing badge can be a telltale sign that there has been some sort of body or paint work. For this reason, Honda is suggesting that some owners of the 2014 Odyssey take their vans into the dealership for a little rebadging.
The topic was brought to light after Consumer Reports received a notice from Honda saying that the "Odyssey" badge on its test vehicle was incorrectly installed at the factory. The badge is supposed to go on the driver's side of the liftgate (as shown above), but the customer vehicles had it placed on the passenger side of the car. Not a huge deal unless an owner is trying to sell the vehicle and the improperly installed badge leads potential owners into believing the vehicle may have been damaged in some way. Here's what Honda said in its letter:
On some 2013 Odyssey vehicles, the Odyssey emblem was incorrectly installed on the passenger's side of the rear tailgate. The emblem should be installed on the drivers' side of the rear tailgate. American Honda Motor Company highly recommends that you participate in this Product Update. The placement of the emblem may indicate that the vehicle has had repairs performed that are consistent with it being in a crash. This could affect the resale value of the vehicle.
