This is a one-owner from a non-smoking family. We purchased it new in October 2006. We even still have the original retail window sticker. We are selling it because we have purchased a new 2014 Honda Odyssey Touring.
This Honda Odyssey Touring comes with all of the following: Honda navigation system with voice recognition, rear DVD player, power moonroof, rear camera, heated front leather seats, tire pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, remote entry with security system and driver recognition memory, all seats are leather, XM satellite radio (subscription required), Honda premium sound system w/ 7 speakers including subwoofer and AM/FM/6-disc in-dash CD, driver's 8-way power seat, removable second row console, two-row power windows, driver's auto up/down window, second row sunshade, power door and tailgate locks, in-floor storage with lazy susan, 115-volt power outlet, 12-volt power outlets, automatic day/night rearview mirror, exterior temperature gauge, power adjustable pedals, factory floor mats, home link system, auto-on/off headlights, foglights, heated power door mirrors, roof rails, alloy wheels, rear air conditioning that can be controlled from the front or the second row, fold-away third row seating, traction control, ABS brakes Everything is in good working order! At the time of purchasing the van, we purchased a 120 month/100,000 mile warranty as we knew we would be keeping the vehicle beyond the factory warranty. The balance of the warranty is transferable to the purchaser. We cannot recall whether the deductible on the extended warranty is $0 or $100 and because I am creating this listing on a weekend we are not able to reach the warranty company to confirm (but will determine the deductible this week). |

Honda launches Project Drive-In to save these American icons
Mon, 12 Aug 2013Honda wasn't really a major player in the automotive industry when drive-in movie theaters were popular in the US, but the automaker is doing its best to preserve the place where automotive and cinema histories collide. Using Project Drive-In, Honda is helping bring awareness to a story we brought up last month, where we saw how a move away from 35-millimeter film could put some of the few drive-in theaters remaining in the US out of business.
As production studios switch to digital film, theaters are required to upgrade to digital projectors, which Honda says will cost about $80,000 for drive-ins. While Project Drive-In asks people to donate money to the cause or pledge to go to a drive-in theater, Honda will also be donating projectors to five of the remaining drive-ins based on votes received on its website. 2015 Honda Fit configurator will let you have it your way
Wed, 11 Jun 2014Honda has released the online configurator for the all-new, 2015 Fit - a vehicle that was scheduled to launch earlier, but was delayed until this month. As is the case with the rest of the Japanese manufacturer's builders, there's not a lot to this one - pick a trim, transmission (where applicable) and a color, and you're all set.
The 2015 Fit will come in three grades, with the base LX offering up both manual and continuously variable transmission, air conditioning, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, a 60/40 split-rear seat and a four-speaker stereo, among lesser items. The LX starts at $15,525, not counting a $790 destination charge. Next up is the $17,435 EX, which adds 16-inch wheels, push-button start and a seven-inch display audio system complete with Pandora and text-message functionality. Like the LX, the EX can be had with either a manual or CVT, with the two-pedal setup commanding an $800 premium, regardless of trim.
The top-of-the-line EX-L, however, cannot be had with a manual. Getting the king of the Fit line will lock you into the CVT, although it adds an assortment of cow-based products, in the form of heated leather seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Heated wing mirrors are also included in the $19,800 starting price. Navigation is an optional goodie, which tacks $1,000 onto the price and is only available on the EX-L. HD Radio and satellite radio are also included on the EX-L.
Honda issues second Fit window recall, this time for 143k units
Mon, 01 Jul 2013Honda has announced it is recalling certain 2007-2008 Fit models in the US to fix what could have been faulty repairs made in a previous round of recalls. The vehicles may have been manufactured with a master driver's window switch that could allow rain water or spilled liquids into the switch. If that happens, the liquids could cause the switch to overheat, melt and potentially damage the vehicle's wiring or cause a fire. Honda says no accidents or injuries have been reported due to the problem, but warns owners to park their Fit hatchbacks outside until a dealer can inspect the switch.
All told, the recall covers 143,083 Fit units. Back in 2010, Honda recalled the 2002-2008 model-year Fit for the same issue. That recall covered some 646,000 units worldwide after a two-year-old child in Cape Town, South Africa burnt to death while sleeping in a Fit. Honda says the repair made during that round of recalls may not have been sufficient, and the latest fix should take care of the problem for good.
