Fully rebuilt engine. I bought from an auction and wanted to get something fresh in the car. So I started buying new parts and customizing from the interior out! WARRANTY ON ENGINE for the next 6 MONTHS The car is basically new with refreshed interior and rebuilt engine. (It didn't blow, just burned oil, so we had a rebuild done) Compression in cylinders: 225 (Factory New is 230) Very strong fresh stock engine. Fun Vtec. Definitely great for a first car. 5232 miles on the engine. 199k on the body and original paint. Super clean! There's like 2 light dings in the passenger side door. Honda pulling plug on slow-selling Insight hybrid

Insight hasn't amounted to even a tenth of Prius sales, and well over half of those sold were JDM.
It's been a rough ride for the Honda Insight, and now its journey appears to be at an end - word is that the five-door hybrid hatchback is going out of production.
Fred Savage wants to narrate your home videos to practice for Honda gig
Mon, 27 Oct 2014Honda is getting ready to launch a new advertising campaign with Fred Savage of The Wonder Years (and The Princess Bride) fame, and in order to get his voice in game shape, Savage is taking to social media to get prepared. More specifically, he's apparently interested in adding some voiceover to fun videos provided by fans of the Honda brand, and all you have to do to be considered is to get his attention on Twitter using the hashtag #HondaPromo.
We have no idea how Savage or the Honda PR team plans to choose which videos will be turned into narrated works of art, but we do think it's a pretty fun idea. So, if you happen to have a video that could use some narration, and you think Savage would provide the perfect pitch, hit him up. Oh, be sure to read the terms and conditions first.
Honda Accord Hybrid falls well short of 47 mpg, says Consumer Reports [w/video]
Thu, 29 May 2014Do not poke Consumer Reports with the hybrid fuel economy stick. That seems to be the lesson illustrated here yet again. The Honda Accord Hybrid is the latest to arouse the ratings bear, returning "just" 40 combined mpg in CR testing. Even so, that makes it "a class leader for fuel economy among midsized sedans," besting even the Civic Hybrid in CR testing, but that's still a lucky roll of the dice short of its EPA rating of 47 mpg. Remember, it was back in December 2012 that CR knocked the Ford Fusion and C-Max hybrid models for the exact same failing: certified with an EPA-rated 47 mpg but delivering "just" 40 mpg.
Beyond that, while the Accord Hybrid earned a lower overall score than the traditional gasoline Accord because of its ride, handling and refinement issues, it gets unqualified applause from the institute for its "very impressive hybrid system."
It will be interesting to see if CR's findings will negatively impact the model's sales, which to this point have been impressive enough that demand is outstripping supply.
