This beautiful 2004 Berlina Black S2000 with the famous F22c1 motor was purchased in February of 2012 from an Infiniti dealership in Pittsburgh, PA with 32k miles.
The car was traded in by a middle-aged salesman that worked at the dealership.
Purchased by me, a young medical professional, who drove it solely to work and the occasional road-trip on nice days putting a little over 25k miles on it in a little over two years.
Maintained meticulously, changing oil every 3000 miles, tranny, clutch and brake fluids every mid summer.
4/20/14 put new OEM front brake pads on while inspecting rotors and remaining back pads.
Brand new Yokohama S-drives on rear with tire shop specials on front.
The interior of this car is a touch away from immaculate. The only interior imperfection is slight chippage on the steering wheel which can be seen in the pictures and is hardly noticeable when driving. From the carpet to the leather seats, the interior has been maintained meticulously using only the finest products backed by extensive research.
The exterior, however, does show a touch that it is a 10 year old car. There is absolutely no rust on this car but has slight cosmetic imperfections such as scraped paint on the front bumper and slight scratches which can be buffed out. The soft top could also be replaced but does not leak what-so-ever. The previous owner was unaware of the rubbing issues S2000s have when putting the automatic top down. This resulted in rubbing on the passenger side of the top which needed and is now patched (is pictured).
I am selling this car simply because I am not in a position to enjoy it as much as I used to, which was already very little considering it feels like it is winter majority of the year in PA/WV. I am continuing my education and am always on call so this car is always sitting. This car was meant to be drove and I hope someone can enjoy it more than I did.

Honda next to open museum to Google Street View

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

Had your fill of tooling around the Lamborghini Museum on Google Street View? Maybe Italian supercars aren't your thing? Then we've got good news, because The House That Ferruccio Built isn't the only automotive museum in cyberspace: now the Honda Collection Hall has opened its doors to the crew from Mountain View, too.
The Honda Collection Hall, for those who haven't made it out to Japan's Tochigi Prefecture, is a grand three-story museum dedicated to all things Honda. It's located at the Twin Ring Motegi, and has been open since 1998. Inside visitors will find everything from robots and scooters to SUVs and racing cars. But if you can't make it there in person, you can check out all three levels of floorspace on Street View right from the comfort of your home. Check out the images above and the interactive map below.

Google's new Android Autos OS unveiled, will be in cars this year [w/video]

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

Connected cars are coming en-masse. We know this much. How, though, remains something of an open question, especially as two of the world's largest tech companies are preparing to battle for control of your car's dashboard. On the one hand, we have Apple and its CarPlay system. And now, we know what Google has been working on with Auto Link.
Its new name is Android Auto, and yes, it's based off the Android architecture that is the primary challenger to Apple's iOS mobile operating system. Announced at Google's I/O conference today, Android Auto functions similarly to CarPlay - owners will need to plug their smartphones into their cars to access the full breadth of capability.
In Android Auto's case, that means a wealth of voice controls to limit distracted driving. Google's marquee apps will be available when the interface arrives in production models later this year, including Google Play Music, Google Maps and voice-activated texting and text playback. Meanwhile, developers will be able to begin designing custom apps for the new system via an upcoming software development kit.

Revisiting The Runabout Of Record
The current Honda Fit has been around the block a few times. The subcompact hatch has soldiered on without significant revision since its first update for US customers in 2009, and while Honda is on the verge of launching a third generation, we thought we'd take the time to see how the runabout stacks up against the new wave of small, efficient and plucky five-doors now on the American market. Those include old standbys like the Nissan Versa and Toyota Yaris, as well as relative newcomers like the Chevrolet Sonic and Ford Fiesta.
Those machines may have all covered ground on the Fit, but Honda's wee machine holds a pleasant surprise for those buyers still willing to give the car the time of day. While the rest of the Japanese automaker's lineup has succumbed to dreaded model bloat, the Fit has remained true to the spirit of Honda that we remember from our vagabond youths. This may very well still be the closest genetic ancestor to the Civic models of old.
