I have dropped the price considerably, before you go buying a Jeep for $35k take a close look at this H2. You won't be disappointed!

Let me start off by saying I was listing this truck for my friend, who needs the money so I agreed to lend him the money while the truck sold. I will try to describe the truck as best as possible. Truck is in my possession, I have the title, and I have driven it around town. This truck has been his pride and joy since new. He hated to part with it but started a new business and needed the funds.

2005 Hummer H2 TRUCK SUT

Only 52,000 miles

One Owner:

Although a vehicle history report may show 2 owner truck, he is the original owner. The truck was transferred once within the family for insurance purposes.

The truck began the transformation a few years back when one of his family members opened a one stop automotive custom shop in Miami Florida. It became the show piece for the business and was featured in many of the local advertising. The more you look at the truck the more you realize the amount of work that went into getting the “Right Look.” Park a stock one next to it and you will quickly realize that this is the way they should come from the factory.

  • Rear of truck has been converted to spring suspension rather than the problematic rear air suspension system. It seems to ride better and tow better.

Overall condition of vehicle:

This a gorgeous truck that gets tons of attention. New $73k and over $30k in customization. I had someone in a car next to me shooting a video going down the highway the other day. With that being said it is an 8 year vehicle with some wear. Overall in my opinion you wont find a cleaner or nicer 2005.

Somethings worth mentioning, rear bed corner had a dent you can tell in one of the pictures, that was recently fixed about 95% with paintless dent removal. Normal key hole scratches on the door handle. Wheels are starting to show some pitting/corrosion under the black powdercoating. Door entry sill plates have some scratches from getting in and out. Other than that exceptionally clean and shiny. Everyone that has seen the truck says how clean and well taken care of it looks.

Clear FLORIDA title in hand. NO LIENS!

Hummers are for Horses: Artist reimagines the monsterous SUV [w/video]

Horse-drawn Hummer H2 - Click above to view the video after the jump
When the internal combustion engine finally helped the automobile pass the horse-drawn carriage as the chosen method of transportation for a majority of citizens in the United States, that a step in the right direction. Right? Moving forward about a hundred years... when the behemoth Sport Utility Vehicle that never actually seems to venture off the beaten path passed the minivan in the hearts and minds of families across the country as the people-mover of choice, was that a step in the right direction?
If you answered no to either of the above questions, perhaps you'll enjoy the video pasted after the break. Created by artist Jeremy Dean (read about our initial post on the project here), the converted Hummer H2 is called Futurama and is pulled by two white horses named, appropriately enough, Duke and Diesel. Hummers are for horses? See for yourself.

Automakers tussle over owners of 'orphan' makes

Thu, 10 May 2012

When General Motors put down several of its brands in recent years, it also let loose thousands of brand-loyal customers who will eventually need another car.
R.L. Polk Associates estimates there are more than 18 million cars from 16 discontinued makes on the road today. Those "orphan owners" have sales-hungry competitors seeing dollar signs. GM is offering Saturn owners $1,000 cash toward a Chevy Cruze, Cadillac CTS or a GMC Acadia. Ford is giving its Mercury lease customers a chance to get out of their contracts with no early-termination penalty and offering to waive six remaining payments if they drive off in a Ford or Lincoln.
Edmunds.com research shows the efforts are paying off somewhat for GM, with 39 percent of Pontiac owners, 37 percent of Hummer owners and 31 percent of Saturn owners taking delivery of another GM-branded vehicle. But that leaves as much as 69 percent of owners going elsewhere. Ford, Honda and Toyota seem to be attracting many former GM owners.

Out With A Bang: Hummer dealer giving away free shotgun with every new vehicle purchase

Lynch Hummer dealership in Chesterfield, Missouri - Click above for image gallery
You've heard of art imitating life? Well how about life imitating war? That's another story entirely, but not so far fetched when it comes to the Hummer. The sport-'ute that met the public eye during Operation Desert Storm has all but completely gone through its entire life cycle in the intervening years: first as a military-only vehicle, the original model became available to the public, then GM bought the rights and started churning out pickup-based H2s and H3s, the U.S. armed forces went back Iraq, the original H1 was discontinued and now GM is preparing to wind down the brand entirely. But not before one last pistol-shootin' hoorah, courtesy of the one dealership that arguably sees the truck for what it is more than any other: Lynch Hummer.
The St. Louis-area franchise made headlines last year when they started filling their emptying showroom with gun racks, selling firearms to make up for dwindling sales in the gigantic SUVs. Now the dealership is connecting the dots with a one-of-a-kind promotion: Buy a Hummer, get a free shotgun.
