Still under factory warranty until April 2014 with 4Yr/50,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. I purchased this vehicle from a GM dealer. No Dents or Dings, paint in excellent condition with the exception of one very small scratch on the passenger door. Runs and drives perfect."

I am the second owner of this very nice 2010 H3T that is in excellent condition with only 27,600 miles. This H3 has the remaining factory warranty until April 2014 with 4Yr/50,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty that is fully transferable to the new owner. I purchased this H3 from a GM dealer and is non smoker owned. It hasn't been beat or 4 wheeled and I believe adult owned since new and there is no accident or damage history.  There are no dents or door dings and the paint is near mint with the exception of a small scratch on the passenger door that was there when I purchased the truck.  The interior is very clean and in excellent condition. The truck is always garaged, not driven winters and stored in a heated garage.  I installed 5 new tires (Including the spare) which have less than 1000 miles since installation. The wheels also are in perfect condition This is a very nice driving truck and runs down the highway excellent getting between 17 and 19 MPG. My understanding is that only about 7500 of these were made in 2010 before production was stopped so I guess you could consider this sort of a collector item. The all terrain blue is one of the less common colors and shows very well. I am also including a complete set of GM fluids and filters to service the entire drive train that cost over $500. I just haven't had time to do the service so everything goes with the truck. If you have any questions, need more information or would like to arrange to see the truck please contact me.  If you need to ship the truck rather than driving it I can assist in locating a reliable transport company . I will consider selling outside of the US but please contact me before bidding.

Automakers tussle over owners of 'orphan' makes

Thu, 10 May 2012

When General Motors put down several of its brands in recent years, it also let loose thousands of brand-loyal customers who will eventually need another car.
R.L. Polk Associates estimates there are more than 18 million cars from 16 discontinued makes on the road today. Those "orphan owners" have sales-hungry competitors seeing dollar signs. GM is offering Saturn owners $1,000 cash toward a Chevy Cruze, Cadillac CTS or a GMC Acadia. Ford is giving its Mercury lease customers a chance to get out of their contracts with no early-termination penalty and offering to waive six remaining payments if they drive off in a Ford or Lincoln.
Edmunds.com research shows the efforts are paying off somewhat for GM, with 39 percent of Pontiac owners, 37 percent of Hummer owners and 31 percent of Saturn owners taking delivery of another GM-branded vehicle. But that leaves as much as 69 percent of owners going elsewhere. Ford, Honda and Toyota seem to be attracting many former GM owners.

Lynch Hummer dealership in Chesterfield, Missouri - Click above for image gallery
You've heard of art imitating life? Well how about life imitating war? That's another story entirely, but not so far fetched when it comes to the Hummer. The sport-'ute that met the public eye during Operation Desert Storm has all but completely gone through its entire life cycle in the intervening years: first as a military-only vehicle, the original model became available to the public, then GM bought the rights and started churning out pickup-based H2s and H3s, the U.S. armed forces went back Iraq, the original H1 was discontinued and now GM is preparing to wind down the brand entirely. But not before one last pistol-shootin' hoorah, courtesy of the one dealership that arguably sees the truck for what it is more than any other: Lynch Hummer.
The St. Louis-area franchise made headlines last year when they started filling their emptying showroom with gun racks, selling firearms to make up for dwindling sales in the gigantic SUVs. Now the dealership is connecting the dots with a one-of-a-kind promotion: Buy a Hummer, get a free shotgun.

Horse-drawn Hummer H2 - Click above to view the video after the jump
When the internal combustion engine finally helped the automobile pass the horse-drawn carriage as the chosen method of transportation for a majority of citizens in the United States, that a step in the right direction. Right? Moving forward about a hundred years... when the behemoth Sport Utility Vehicle that never actually seems to venture off the beaten path passed the minivan in the hearts and minds of families across the country as the people-mover of choice, was that a step in the right direction?
If you answered no to either of the above questions, perhaps you'll enjoy the video pasted after the break. Created by artist Jeremy Dean (read about our initial post on the project here), the converted Hummer H2 is called Futurama and is pulled by two white horses named, appropriately enough, Duke and Diesel. Hummers are for horses? See for yourself.
