This is my 2006 Infiniti G35 coupe, it is a 6spd with Navigation, Heated/Memory Seats, Bluetooth, Rear Active Steer, 19" wheels, etc. I believe this car has every option except the automatic transmission. The car is in excellent mechanical shape, runs and drives great and has approximately 61000 miles. The interior is in overall good condition with the navigation screen retracting into the dash, it currently has generic rubber floor mats with the seats in good shape and the only noticeable flaw being the small area pictured next to the ashtray. The exterior of the car is currently sprayed with Red Plastidip with gunmetal Plastidip wheels as pictured, this is do to the clear coat on the hood pealing and the extreme fading of the mirrors. I have include picture of the car just before it was sprayed to show what it looks like underneath, the only difference is the areas of the hood that show bare aluminum have a light coat of gray primer for the plastidip to bond to. The Plastidip is not perfect but is much better than what it looked like previously and is completely reversible, the plastidip was done with a kit from dipyourcar.com. Tires are 225/40/19 front and 245/40/19 rear continentals with plenty of tread left. I have a clear title in hand for the car and 1 key/remote. I purchased this car in 2007 with 15K miles and have never had a problem with it, I just have too many cars so something has to go.

Infiniti SUV recall marks latest chapter in Takata airbag saga
Fri, 31 Oct 2014Automotive parts maker Takata is having a rough year with millions of vehicles equipped with its airbag inflators being recalled. However, it looks like there might still be problems with the company's quality control, if a new recall by Infiniti is any indication.
The Japanese luxury brand is recalling 1,912 total units of the 2013 Infiniti QX56 and 2014 QX80 in North America because of a manufacturing flaw with their Takata-supplied inflators for the driver's side front airbag. Of those, 1,848 are in the United States, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Specifically, the outer baffle could be the wrong component and cause too much pressure to build up inside. According to documents submitted to NHTSA, it's possible in a crash for the part to rupture spraying metal shrapnel at occupants. At this time, Infiniti has not had any reports of this actually happening to drivers.
While this problem sounds nearly identical to the issue affecting millions of earlier vehicles, it must be noted that this is a different fault. According to the notice being sent to dealers on NHTSA's website: "This particular Voluntary Safety Recall Campaign is unrelated to two earlier campaigns that involved Takata passenger front air bag inflators on some older model Infiniti vehicles. This issue involves a much newer inflator and is a different, more isolated, Takata quality control issue."
Infiniti EV delayed to add better tech
Wed, 10 Jul 2013An evolution in lithium-ion batteries and "interesting advances in electric technology" are said to be responsible for the delay of Infiniti's electric car, the production version of the LE concept first shown at the New York Auto Show in 2012. At the time of its introduction, Infiniti said we'd have a version we could buy within two years; that timeline became 2015, and now Automotive News Europe reports that it's"still within in our mid-term plan" but officials aren't saying how long the delay will be.
When shown, the LE had a 24kWh lithium-ion battery and a 100kw electric motor producing 134 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque, a 100-mile range and the potential for wireless charging. It isn't clear if the postponement will bring improved specs or perhaps improved packaging and technology - or both. All we have for now is that the new timeframe is "not significantly" beyond the original plan.
Infiniti offers chance to design Sebastian Vettel's helmet for the USGP
Mon, 16 Sep 2013The Circuit of the Americas will host its second United States Grand Prix in November, and based on what's happening with New Jersey it might be the only US torch left alight in the Formula One firmament. The story even before the inaugural event was about getting American fans involved, and Infiniti appears to be making the first splash this year with a competition to design Sebastian Vettel's helmet for the first two days of race weekend.
The only thing required of the graphic designer within you is to head to the competition site, download the helmet template and slather it in your unique technicolor vision. It will require some thought to make something interesting, though, since much of the helmet is already committed to team and sponsor logos; other than a few thin strips along the sides, your creativity will be confined to the oval atop the shell. Vettel will choose the winner and will wear the selected lid during the free practices and qualifying.
The grand prize winner will also get a VIP trip for two to the grand prix as a guest of Infiniti, which includes some face time with the triple world champion himself. The contest is on now, the deadline for entries is 11:59 pm GMT (6:59 EST), Sunday, September 29th and the winner is chosen the very next day. There's a press release below with more info if you want the complete skinny before putting stylus to digital paper.
