I am selling my 2000 Infiniti I30 in great condition. I have taken great care of the car and everything in it works. New alternator New battery New front axles and struts (replaced 6 months ago) Rear struts replaced 18 months ago A/C works like new - ice cold All electric stuff works - power seats, power windows, CD player, cassette player, radio, sun roof, etc. No warning lights are on - replaced 02 sensors last year so passed emissions just fine I've changed oil myself with synthetic oil only Decent life left on tires, see photo No rips in leather seats. There is a small rip in armrest (see photo) and that's the only leather damage. Only issues: -Comes with remote opener but the opener does not open doors. It sets the alarm fine but need to use key to open doors. -Some denting on passenger side fender in front - see photo there is no paint damage, but there is a dent. -Minor leak on oil seal - it's so minor that I have not bothered to spend the money on a repair and have been driving with it. Not a big deal, but want to disclose it. - If you start the car under about 45 degrees F idle is rough. I think it needs a new idle air control valve or a cleaning - I have not bothered as the car has always been garaged and I have had no issues. No issues once the car warms up or if it's warmer outside. I'd be happy to show the car in person, I am in the Chandler/Gilbert/Tempe area. I have the title in hand. Cash only, if picking up in person. If shipping, cashiers check or money order are fine, but will ship only after they clear in bank. |

Infiniti Q50S getting G37's hydraulic steering for 2016
Sun, 31 Aug 2014Sometimes, new technology doesn't make things better. Take the march of power steering technology as an example. Electrically assisted systems are in vogue at the moment for their ability to increase fuel efficiency, but tuning them to offer good feedback remains something of a dark art. Some automakers get it, but most don't. The previous hydraulically assisted setups just seem to be inherently more communicative when driven with enthusiasm. And it looks like Infiniti might be learning this lesson the hard way.
In talking with Keith St. Clair, the luxury brand's head of product planning, Car and Driver has learned that the Q50S is probably going to ditch its standard electrically assisted steering in favor of a hydraulic system derived from the old G37, a model soon to be renamed the Q40. The system should make the sedan more engaging behind the wheel, but it still won't help those who tick the option box for Infiniti's controversial Direct Adaptive Steering drive-by-wire system.
According to St. Clair, Infiniti's engineers have heard the complaints of critics and previous G37 owners about the Q50S model's electric steering system, and wanted to see what they could do. They didn't have to go far to figure it out - all it required was taking the steering rack off of a G37 and putting it onto the Q50S. After a little tweaking, "the car is a blast to drive," St. Clair reports. Now, the company is said to be fast-tracking the switch, and it could be ready for the 2016 model year.
Nissan Rogue, Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60 recalled for loose lug nuts
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Nissan has announced a small recall affecting 334 vehicles built just a few months back. 2014 Nissan Rogue and Pathfinder and 2014 Infiniti QX60 CUVs built between March 7 and March 10, 2014 could be susceptible to a loose lug nut on the passenger side wheels.
We shouldn't have to explain why a loose lug is a bit of an issue. Thankfully, it's also a ridiculously easy fix. Nissan obviously recommends reporting to your local dealer - and it will begin notifying owners of affected vehicles - but this is one of those rare recalls that has an easy DIY element to it.

Infiniti ESQ is a Chinese Nissan Juke Nismo
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Take a Nissan Juke Nismo, replace all of its suede and Alcantara interior with leather and cross-stitching, replace all of its badging with the words "Infiniti ESQ," and boom! You've got a made-for-China crossover aimed at "the new millennials." Infiniti teased the coming of the ESQ last month, and today, we're treated to pictures taking it in from various toothsome angles.
Whippersnappers with anywhere from 200,000 yuan ($33,507 USD) to 300,000 yuan to spend will get the same 197 horsepower, 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, sport-tuned CVT and all-wheel drive that we know in the Juke Nismo. We haven't tracked down any other official information about it yet, but potential buyers will get their first look at it during the Chengdu Motor Show that opens later this month, where it will share market-specific notes with Infiniti Q50 L.
