1997 Infinity J30.  155,539 miles.  Located in Washingtonville, NY.

Paint shines brilliantly and is smooth to the touch.  However there are various nicks and marks. Front and rear bumpers starting to fade in some places.  Drivers door has dent, but does not affect the operation of the door. Car is 95% rust free. Interior leather is beautiful. AC, heat, windows, locks, heated seats, etc all work. Sunroof works well and does not leak. The tachometer.. from time to time does not work. All other gauges work properly. Overall the interior is in excellent condition. Bose sound system.

Mechanically the car runs well. New Battery. Everything works as it should. Brakes stop very well, steering is tight and the ride is comfortable. Transmission shifts fine. The v6 provides plenty of power for this small car. (It moves). The oil looks and smells as it should. Trans fluid is dark but red. Coolant is clean. Car has no fluid leaks. Tires are about 50% worn. 2 additional snow tires are included with the car. Drives like a lower mileage car. Engine starts and runs quiet, no smoke.  The only 2 issues are:  the "Service Engine Soon" light and the ABS light are on.  The car runs and brakes so well I doubt the lights are indicating  major problems.

Infiniti QX70 drops V8 for 2015, holds line on pricing

Fri, 23 May 2014

QX70 was the only application for the 5.0L, making it a tough sell in the boardroom.
It was always easy to chuckle a bit at Infiniti's branding of its FX crossover as a "bionic cheetah" - until you drove the thing. It was something of a revelation when it came on the market in late 2002 - certainly visually, but also in terms of performance, particularly in V8 guise. The Porsche Cayenne burst on the scene at the same time, and between the two of them, they vividly illustrated that the idea of a performance utility vehicle wasn't the oxymoron it first appeared to be.

Infiniti Synaptiq concept 'spinal lock attachment' makes you one with your car

Fri, 14 Nov 2014

The theme of this year's LA Design Challenge is "Sensing the future" and asks, "How will cars interact with us in 2029?" Infiniti has kicked off entries in the LA Auto Show's yearly visionary party with its low, wide and versatile Synaptiq concept. Less a car and more of a set of interlocking pieces, the Synaptiq is termed a "universal fuselage pod," a teardrop-shaped capsule with a liquid-crystal canopy that can be fitted to different propulsion devices: a Formula One-like chassis, a desert buggy rig and a jet airframe.
Yet it answers the challenge not by being able to fly through deserts and air, but with its human-machine interface. The driver/pilot wears a Synaptic S.U.I.T. (Symbiotic User Interface Technology) fitted with biometric sensors and synthetic muscles, and through a "spinal lock attachment," he or she is made one with the car.
You gaze upon its gewgaws in the gallery above, and read more about it and other concepts from Acura, CALTY, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Peterbilt, Qoros, Subaru and Volkswagen that will vie for the King of the Future title at next week's LA Auto Show.

Infiniti Q80 Inspiration Concept previews a fullsize future of luxury

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

Well, this certainly looks like a concept, doesn't it? From the wide, portal-esque door opeings to the boattail rear window design, there's just so much about the Infiniti Q80 Inspiration that looks like it would never actually reach production that we're impressed the automaker had the gumption to put the machine together and show it off at the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
This marks the first time that Infiniti has shown any sort of real intent to enter into the rarefied air of the fullsize luxury sedan segment, populated as it is by the likes of the Audi A8, BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Those are extremely heavy hitters to market against, and Infiniti sounds anxious to throw its hat in the ring.
"We aim to do this with elegance, style, and emotion," says Francois Bancon, Infiniti Vice President, Product Strategy. "This car is making a statement. Q80 Inspiration is a precursor of a production model in this segment and, as such, integral to our future."
