Up for sale is a 2007 Infiniti QX56. This vehicle is loaded with leather, heated seats, navigation, Sirius/XM satellite radio, etc. It DOES NOT have the rear entertainment system and it is only 2 wheel drive. This has been my wife's vehicle over the past 3 years. It is a 7 year old vehicle so there are some scratches and nicks on the hood and around the car. It was been very well maintained. I change the oil every 3000 miles and rotate the tires every 5000 miles. We have not had a single issue with it since we have owned it. The Michelin tires have 15,000 miles on them and have a ton of tread left. The only negative things about the vehicle is there are some minor scratches on front passenger side wheel well (see photo). The wife tried pulling into the garage too close and rubbed the side of the garage. The radio controls (volume, change station, etc.) on the steering wheel do not work, however, everything else including cruise control works perfectly. I still owe a balance on the vehicle to my bank loan. So, after purchase, I can set you up with my bank or have your bank work it out with my bank in getting the title. The vehicle is listed locally so the listing may be ended at any time. Kelly Blue Book has the private party valued at $21,800. The price is negotiable but please keep the offers reasonable. Infiniti Synaptiq concept 'spinal lock attachment' makes you one with your car
Fri, 14 Nov 2014The theme of this year's LA Design Challenge is "Sensing the future" and asks, "How will cars interact with us in 2029?" Infiniti has kicked off entries in the LA Auto Show's yearly visionary party with its low, wide and versatile Synaptiq concept. Less a car and more of a set of interlocking pieces, the Synaptiq is termed a "universal fuselage pod," a teardrop-shaped capsule with a liquid-crystal canopy that can be fitted to different propulsion devices: a Formula One-like chassis, a desert buggy rig and a jet airframe.
Yet it answers the challenge not by being able to fly through deserts and air, but with its human-machine interface. The driver/pilot wears a Synaptic S.U.I.T. (Symbiotic User Interface Technology) fitted with biometric sensors and synthetic muscles, and through a "spinal lock attachment," he or she is made one with the car.

Infiniti teases G-replacing Q50 ahead of Detroit debut

Preparing for the introduction of its new naming system and redesigned entry-level sedan, Infiniti has released a brief teaser video for the 2014 Q50. As a refresher, the Q50 is the replacement for the G37 sedan, and while we've seen spy shots of this car before, this video is our first detailed look at the production car.
All we get to see in the video is a shot of the headlight, but we get to see key elements like the stylish daytime running lights, crescent-shaped parking lights and adaptive low beams. The overall shape of the headlight is very close to what we saw earlier this year on the LE Concept. We have to wait until the Detroit Auto Show kicks off in a couple weeks to see the Q50's full design (although we're sure there will be some leaks before that point), but until then, check out the short video posted after the jump.
Vettel and Coulthard drive Russia's very unfinished Sochi Circuit
Thu, 16 May 2013The next Winter Olympics will happen in Sochi, Russia from February 7-23, 2014. Sometime after that, barring any delays, a portion of the Sochi Olympic Park will be turned into the Sochi Olympic Park Circuit, a 3.65-mile track for the first Russian Grand Prix in 100 years (the last of two Formula One grands prix were held in St. Petersburg).
As we've come to expect from the Infiniti Red Bull team, it recently sent Sebastian Vettel and brand ambassador David Coulthard to the unfinished venue to run the route in Infiniti M sedans and offer some impressions. With average cornering speeds above 62 miles an hour, Coulthard called it a fast street circuit in the Monaco vein. You can watch them try it out - yes, that's Vettel gone airborne above - and avoid a "White Van Man" in the video below.
