On Aug-23-14 at 08:00:39 PDT, seller added the following information:

Carfax available upon request.

Wheels and Tires: Wheels look perfect. Two of the tires are original, two have been replaced in the past year or so due to leaks (running over screws and such). Both times the replacement was bought from Infiniti for about $350. Tires have been rotated regularly.

Cosmetic condition: This car is very clean. There is some minor scuffing on the front and rear bumpers if you look closely, but they don't show up in photos. I am pretty sure they could be buffed or touched up. As is they are not apparent from more than a couple feet. This car has never been in an accident or had any dings or dents or had any cosmetic repairs for dents or scratches.

Interior: I have had the car detailed about once per month since owning it. The interior is very clean. The indentation that can be seen on the rear driver's side seat is from a carseat that I pulled out 30 seconds before taking the photos. I'm pretty sure they are not permanent. The interior is white but I've used heavy duty floor mats since purchasing the car. Some darker spots appear on the areas between the mats and the doors. Shampoo would probably work but the floor is white so it will instantly collect dirt again. Use the mats. There is a small scratch on the steering wheel where you push to honk. The driver's seat has been sat in for 56,000 miles and has some wear to it, but the other seats are in near perfect condition. I'm a non-smoker and the car has never been smoked in.

The interior is cleaner than any SUV I saw at Carmax or other used car dealer.

I only have one key right now. Still looking for the other...

I owe about $20k to Nissan Auto Finance. I will consider paying off the loan prior to closing the sale if needed. This is the 5th car I've sold on eBay.

Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge revealed ahead of Detroit

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

As fast as Infiniti is on the track with its sponsored Formula One racecar, the automaker sure is taking its time releasing details for the Q50 Eau Rouge Concept. This performance- and aero-tuned version of the Q50 sedan is heading for a big debut at the Detroit Auto Show, and Infiniti just released a new image and some more info on what we can only hope is a glimpse at future Infiniti Performance Line (IPL) products.
Influenced by the Red Bull Racing program, Infiniti's design team gave the Q50 a substantial once over with the concept getting an entirely new body compared to the production version of the luxury sedan making it both lower and wider. Previewed by an earlier teaser, the face of the Q50 Eau Rouge Concept has a mean look with massive intakes and a carbon fiber splitter. This new image also shows off additional cues like the lightweight, 21-inch wheels as well as the carbon fiber roof, side sills and door mirrors. While we only get this single image of the Q50 Eau Rouge Concept, Infiniti promises a carbon fiber rear splitter, dual exhaust and a "large integrated rear spoiler."
There is still no word on what handling or engine upgrades are in store, but hopefully those GT-R-inspired hood vents are only a hint at something monstrous lurking beneath the hood. Check out the full press release posted below for a few more details on the car, but we expect Infiniti to drop some more info on the Eau Rouge Concept before its official debut.

Race Recap: 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix follows the template of this year and last [spoilers]

Mon, 22 Apr 2013

The sand, the wind, the penalties, the contact and the one crash - all of them collided to make the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix a surprise affair from day to day and lap to lap. Oh, and did we mention the tires? Pirelli made a last-minute swap after the amusement park ride that the Chinese Grand Prix turned into with the soft compound tire, and brought medium and hard compounds to the desert. That didn't stop things from falling apart for some teams - literally - and that didn't stop the one team that seems to love the hard compound Pirelli tire.

Infiniti brand will finally make its debut in Japan, but not the name

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

Nissan left the automotive media scratching its collective head when it announced that its Infiniti luxury brand would be renaming all of its vehicles, with cars wearing the Q designation and CUVs/SUVs wearing the QX badge. So the G Sedan became the Q50, and the G Coupe became the Q60. The QX56, meanwhile, became the QX80, and the FX crossover became the QX70. It is still thoroughly confusing nearly a year later.
Not content to confuse its US customers alone, Nissan will be fiddling with the name of one of its most revered Japanese-market models - the Skyline. Rebadged for the US as the Q50, and before that as the G Sedan/Coupe, the new Skyline will wear an Infiniti badge. What makes this truly confusing, though, is that the car won't be called the Infiniti Skyline, despite its badging. It won't even be called the Nissan Skyline, anymore. It's now just the Skyline. Apparently, Nissan thinks it can capitalize on the Skyline's link to the Japanese royal family (the Skyline was originally a product of Prince Motors, which provided vehicles for the Emperor and his family), by ditching any brand names and referring to it as its own model, according to Automotive News.
Now, confusion aside, there are things about Infiniti badging in Japan that make sense. Badging all the Nissans that eventually become Infinitis as Infinitis in the first place goes a long way to make the brand seem separate and distinct from its parent company. Speaking to AN, Infiniti's executive vice president of global product planning, Andy Palmer, puts it this way, "We have to treat Infiniti, if you will, in the same [way] that Volkswagen treats Audi. It's not a Nissan-plus. Infiniti has to stand head-to-head with any of those German competitors."
