I'm looking for a good home for my wonderful baby! My QX4 is mechanically perfect and cosmetically in VERY good condition! I've owned this QX4 since Nov 2006 when I purchased it with 60,000 miles (I am the third owner). That's right, I've only put 46,000 miles on my QX4 in 7 years. It makes me VERY sad to sell, but it's been a very good year for me personally so I recently splurged and purchased a new 2013 SUV. I've actually debated on keeping this extraordinarily reliable SUV with 4WD, but I just don't have room in my driveway and garage.
OK, the details... I've driven the car responsibly, maintained it very well, and it's in excellent condition (interior and exterior) and has been garage kept since I purchased it (until the last couple of months). Also, I put very nice new tires on at 90K miles, and I estimate at least 20K of tread life left.
In 2001 this car listed for $40,250 dollars and was considered THE luxury mid-sized SUV. It's all leather inside and gorgeous. The leather is in VERY good condition.
This SUV is VERY OFF-ROAD CAPABLE 4WD with Leather, POWER everything, Sunroof, Auto Climate, Auto, etc. About the ONLY option it does not have is heated seats.
Here are the ONLY minor issues that I'm aware of with my QX4:
1 - The Bose CD Changer quit on me a couple of years ago. The cassette and am/fm radio work great. No biggie, I prefer using Pandora from my phone using the cassette slot and cable.
2 - The paint on the front / rear bumpers and mirrors is not show-room new like the rest of the car.
3 - The Center Console has a small area for placing drinks... This area has a lid that doesn't quite close correctly, so I leave it open
4 - The drivers side power window works perfectly, but is a little slow going up / down. These qx4/pathfinders are known for this... not an issue, just a tad slow.
Below are the pics... I think you'll agree this is a very nice and affordable mid-sized SUV.

Infiniti-Red Bull Racing will seek a fourth title with the RB9 [w/video]
Tue, 05 Feb 2013This is the car and the team that everyone wants to dethrone. The stability of this year's regulations means that the Infiniti Red Bull RB9 is a seriously honed RB8; however, that's a situation probably no other team would complain about seeing that the RB8 recovered from early stumbles and reliability issues last year to carry Sebastian Vettel to a third consecutive driver's title and the team to a third consecutive constructor's trophy.
The most noteworthy revisions to the car are the partial vanity panel that omits the driver cooling slot, the even narrower rear end - a feature of just about every car launched so far - and purple sidepods to showcase new title sponsor Infiniti. Adrian Newey, perhaps the most feared designer on the pit lane, said the nose and front wing could be changed relatively easily throughout the season, but he wanted to make sure to get the middle of the car - everything from the sidepods, back - as good as possible since they're more difficult to re-engineer. His track record leads us to believe he did just that.
Below are two videos, one of the making of the RB9, the other the launch at team headquarters in Milton Keynes.
Infiniti extends long-wheelbase Q50 L for the Chinese market
Fri, 22 Aug 2014Want to sell your luxury sedan in China? You're going to need a long-wheelbase model. Not because the still-dominant Chinese government mandates it, or because the customers are taller, but because Chinese buyers tend to like being chauffeured around in the back of their luxury sedans instead of driving themselves, so the priority is on rear-seat space over driving dynamics.
We've seen the likes of Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo all roll out long-wheelbase versions of their compact and midsize sedans specifically to cater to Chinese tastes. Even Infiniti - which now bases itself in Hong Kong - offers a long-wheelbase Q70 L not only in China but around the world, and has now bolstered its extended offerings with the reveal of the Q50 L, set to debut at the Chengdu Motor Show later this month.
Set to be produced locally for the local market, the Q50 L adds nearly two inches to the wheelbase of the Q50 to the benefit of rear-seat legroom. Power comes from Infiniti's 2.0-liter turbo four offering 208 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, driving to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission with drive-by-wire steering.
Nissan bringing Infiniti brand to Japanese market
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Ever hear that the best stuff is saved for export? Just ask Japanese luxury car buyers. It's been decades since Japan's largest automakers set out to take on Europe's finest with dedicated luxury brands of their own, but they have kept those brands largely out of their own domestic market and sold them almost exclusively overseas. But that's beginning to change.
In 2005 Toyota launched the Lexus brand - which it had been exporting since 1989 - in Japan. Honda reportedly planned on bringing its Acura brand to its home market just a few years later, but ended up delaying the move. Now Nissan is reportedly preparing to launch the Infiniti lineup in its own backyard.
This according to a report published in the Japanese business daily Nikkei and now making the rounds of the English-language press. The plan apparently involves offering at least part of the Infiniti model line in domestic Nissan dealers, holding off for the time being on launching a separate dealer network in Japan.
