The QX56 has had had one owner and comes with the remaining factory warranty of 11 months. It currently only has 38,062 miles (I am still driving it locally until this is sold or I trade it in when my new vehicle arrives) and has an efficient and easy to use navigation system along with a rear DVD entertainment system for the kids. This car runs perfectly and has been kept up on all oil and maintenance. Why then do you ask is it priced so low? That is because when it was only a few months old and had a mere 10,000 miles on it, I was rear-ended at a stop light. There was only cosmetic damage to the rear bumper/lift gate. I have the accident report posted in the photos as well as the repair bill so you can see the details for yourself. There is absolutely nothing mechanically wrong with this vehicle - feel free to come and inspect. In the asking price I have figured in a $3,000 discount due to the accident as well as an additional 3k discount to make it more affordable to someone who wants a full size luxury vehicle. Nissan recalling 151,000 CUVs over ABS issues
Thu, 24 Oct 2013Nissan will be recalling over 151,000 vehicles due to issues with the anti-lock braking systems. On rough roads, light braking in the Nissan Pathfinder, Infiniti JX35 and QX60 could trigger a problem in the brake pressure output software that might lead to longer stopping distances than expected relative to the brake inputs. Needless to say, unpredictable stopping distances on rough roads is not a desirable trait in a three-row, family friendly CUV.
The recall covers all 2013 and 2014 Nissan Pathfinders built between April 18, 2012 and September 20, 2013, some 100,682 vehicles. Another 52,629 2013 to 2014 Infiniti JX35/QX60s built between September 15, 2011 and September 20, 2013 are also part of the notice.
Nissan will request that owners of affected vehicles report to dealers for a free software update to address the problem. Scroll down for the official notification from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Pirelli made a last-minute swap after the amusement park ride that the Chinese Grand Prix turned into with the soft compound tire, and brought medium and hard compounds to the desert. That didn't stop things from falling apart for some teams - literally - and that didn't stop the one team that seems to love the hard compound Pirelli tire.
