North Baltimore, Ohio, United States
THIS NICE 2003 JAGUAR X-TYPE, NICE RUNNING AND NICE LOOKING HAS HAD MANY NEW PARTS BOUGHT AND INSTALLED IN THE LAST THREE WEEKS AS STATED ABOVE, COASTING ALMOST $1000. THE PAINT IS SHINY DEEP RED WITH TAN/BROWN LEATHER INTERIOR, WHICH IS REAL SHARP LOOKING WITH A LITTLE DETAILING NEEDED ON THE DRIVER SIDE FLOOR. MY VAC IS NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH TO GET IT PERFECT. ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS PRETTY CLEAN AND NO LEAKS BUT NOT DETAILED. TIRES ARE ABOUT 70-80% TREAD LEFT, BRAKES WORK GOOD WITH GOOD PADS. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION WORK GREAT WITH ABOUT 109,000 MILES ON THEM WHICH MAY VERY AS IT IS USED DAILY TO DRIVE TO WORK, A WHOLE 8 MILES EACH WAY. IT IS A SENIOR OWNED NON-SMOKER OWNED CAR. IT IS WELL LOADED, EVEN A 6 DISC CHANGER AND OWNER MANUAL AND BOOKS, AND FOLD DOWN REAR SEATS, GOOD HEAT AND AC. AS WITH MOST USED VECHICLES, THERE MIGHT BE A FEW VERY LIGHT MARKS OR WEAR ON PAINT OR INTERIOR. I HAVE OVER $6500 INVESTED IN IT BUT WANT TO BUY A UTILITY VECHICLE OR SUV. ANY QUESTIONS EMAIL ME AT LUMA4U@YAHOO.COM MAY BE ABLE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SEND PICTURES IF THEY DON'T SHOW UP IN THIS AD. BUYER TO PICK UP LOCALLY OR COVER ALL SHIPPING EXPENSES |

Evo pits Jaguar XKR-S vs. Mercedes SL63 AMG in heavyweight droptop fight
Wed, 12 Mar 2014We recently received the sad news that the Jaguar XK is ceasing production by the end of the year, but what better way to bid it farewell than with some big, smoky powerslides? The retirement of the sporty GT isn't actually the topic of the latest video from Evo - it's on hand to compete against the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG to see which is faster around a track. Still, we can think of it as a wonderful sendoff for the Jag.
Both convertible grand tourers get their laps around the course, and they couldn't be more different. Driver Jethro Bovingdon gets some grins out of them both, but absolutely giggles while behind the wheel of the XKR-S convertible. The SL63 AMG is the more powerful of the two, but as we know, that doesn't always matter at a racetrack. You'll just have to scroll down and watch the video to see which of them is actually the winner.
2014 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake is one hot hauler
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Oh look, another super-hot wagon that won't be making its way to the US. Awesome.
Actually, in all honesty, it really is awesome. Meet the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, a red-hot (or blue-hot?) version of the rakish XF wagon that originally bowed at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2012. The formula here is pretty much plug-and-play: take the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 from the XFR-S and shove it in the wagon body, and add all of the necessary visual flair fitting of a properly powerful Jag. The end result is an estate that packs 542 horsepower, 502 pound-feet of torque, and the ability to sprint to 60 miles per hour in a scant 4.6 seconds. Meow.
This Jaguar joins a growing segment of ultra-hot wagons in Europe, rounded out by offerings like the Audi RS6 Avant and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG longroof - the latter of which you can actually buy in North America. Sounds like the sort of comparison test we'd love to facilitate. Guess we'll have to leave that to our friends at Autocar, though.
Jaguar working on lighter F-Type with C-X75's twin-charged engine?
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Every automaker has its own agenda when it comes to concept cars. Some roll them out just to showcase where it's heading. Others create them to gauge public opinion for a potential production model. Still others only showcase a concept car to preview a model that's already well underway. Jaguar is just such a company.
In the last several years, Coventry has only produced a handful of concept cars, and each of them - the C-X16 that foreshadowed the F-Type, the C-X17 that previews the upcoming crossover and Project 7 that is now entering limited production - has led straight to the introduction of a new, commercially available model. Except for one: the C-X75.
The extreme lightweight supercar was set to succeed the XJ220 with a number of advanced technologies, but unfortunately Jaguar ended up pulling the plug to watch from the sidelines as McLaren, Ferrari and Porsche got all the attention for their new hybrid hypercars. But that doesn't mean that some of the technologies initially developed for the C-X75 won't find their way into other Jaguar products.
