Jaguar Xj12 - The Best Example Anywhere... 100% Perfect In/out/underneath on 2040-cars
Stillwater, Minnesota, United States
Jaguar XJ12s of which there are very few (less than 60 made for the US) pop up on eBay once every 6 months or so.
This XJ12 will be for sale once and it is the best of all of them. Last year of Jaguars infamous V12. Incredibly rare, you will never see another on the road. This car has ABSOLUTELY NO - leaks, overheating, noises, rattles, tears, stains, wear. Period. This is a show car, owned and operated by me for the last few years. I collect cars as a hobby and repair cars as a business owner. In fact this car is even on the sign for my auto repair facility, euautoworksmn Every inch of this car has been inspected, thousands (9-10K to be fairly accurate) in receipts for parts (not counting labour) are pictured in the glove box. Everything and anything that may have been needed was done. This was my personal car and cost was no object as with any of my cars. I built this car to last forever and be endlessly reliable, thus nothing needs to be done. The only modification I made is the addition of the Lattice wheels at a cost of $2300 or so, and a set of Pirelli P600s at 1K a set. The original 16" Vanden Plas wheels are on a pile with nearly new Michelins on them and are included if desired. Aside from the wheels this car needs no modification. Of all the cars I have owned this car is the closest any manufacturer has come to the perfect sport luxury sedan. Low, Lean, Long, Fast, and on a level all its own for looks. I added on a set of ultra plush LLoyd floor mats $249 and had a professional tint the windows to 30% like all of my other cars. The state you see the car in is the state in which I keep it every day, no quick detail and buff right before the pictures. If you look closely the whole car is covered in dust as I haven't driven it in a few weeks. And that is the problem, I don't drive enough to keep this car. They need to be used and I have to many cars to use them all... So all in all this car needs an owner that can enjoy it. On a final note, this car impresses and honestly looks alot better in person than in pictures. The camera for some reason doesn't convey the low long stance as it looks in person. An absolutely stunning car from any angle or perspective. Good luck bidding and please relay any questions to me before auction end You have right to inspect the vehicle or have an inspection carried out at your expense before auction end, not after. If you have questions feel free to ask. If you cannot afford this car or for any other reason cannot smoothly perform this transaction please refrain from bidding. Once the auction is won you have entered a contract to purchase the car. Those are the eBay rules in a nutshell. |

2014 Jaguar XJR is large, in charge
Wed, 27 Mar 2013There are few things in this world we love more than a huge, supersonic-feeling sedan, and Jaguar has just ripped the sheets off of its newest entry into that set of bruisers. The 2014 Jaguar XJR puts down a full 550 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque courtesy of a supercharged 5.0-liter V8. All that thrust lands on the rear tires through an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the big aluminum-chassis'd four door can sprint to 60 miles per hour in a skinny 4.4 seconds. Top speed sits at an electronically limited 174 mph, and Jaguar estimates the machine will still return up to 23 miles per gallon highway.
Do. Want.
The 2014 XJR also features stiffer spring and damper rates along with an electronically controlled rear differential. Of course, there are plenty of styling tweaks on hand to separate the most menacing XJ from the rest of the family. Those include new fascias, R emblems and massive 20-inch wheels outdoors as well as special seating and trim elements indoors. Asking price? That would Be $116,000 for the XJR and $119,000 for the long-wheelbase L version. Check out the full press blast below.
Jaguar Project 7 Concept
Mon, 26 Aug 2013The Jaguar Project 7 Concept debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed just last month. But unlike most concepts, which serve only to collect fingerprints on a stage, the track-ready one-seater spent its days barreling past the hillclimb crowds with Mike Cross, chief engineer of vehicle integrity at Jaguar, beaming behind its right-hand-drive steering wheel. What's more, the powers that be at Jaguar even let yours truly drive the Project 7 during the Concurs d'Elegance festivities at Pebble Beach last week.
Built on an all-aluminum V8 F-Type chassis with modified suspension, the Project 7 (a name acknowledging Jaguar's seven Le Mans wins between 1951-1990) is best thought of as an F-Type masquerading as a D-Type. The two-door is fitted with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 good for 550 horsepower (no pictures as Jaguar wouldn't allow us to open the hood). An eight-speed automatic, with a torque converter, sends the power the rear wheels, allowing the single-seat roadster to crack the 60-mph benchmark in just over four seconds.
Modifications to the bodywork include a new lowered windshield, carbon-fiber aerodynamics and a rear fairing with integrated rollover hoop. The driving position has also been lowered by more than an inch, allowing the sole occupant to not only escape the airflow, but take advantage of a lower center of gravity.
Jaguar lets first outsiders drive new F-Type
Mon, 17 Dec 2012What do you do when you're an automaker with an all-new and brand-defining sports car, one of them with a supercharged V8 cranking out 495 horsepower? You let proven race drivers test them out on track and on the road.
And what do you do if you're Jaguar and you're in that situation? Why, naturally, you make a video of it. That's how we get footage of racers Martin Brundle, Justin Bell and Christian Danner being choppered into the UK's Snetterton track to test the V6-equipped Jaguar F-Type S prototype. Then when they're finished with kerb-lined apexes, they take the V8 S prototype out onto the roads to run it through hedge-lined apexes.
According to one of them, "very fast, very nimble, great engine" is what will soon be headed our way. Check it out in the video below.
