One of the finest 1973 Jaguars in existance. Same family ownership since new. A show winner for many many years with the Rocky Mountain Jaguar club. Now illness forces sale at a bargain price. If you are looking for an XJ6 that you can enjoy however you like this is the car for you. You will never see another like it in the parking lot at the club or on the show field or for that matter at the grocery store. It always turns heads. The car has a couple of modifications that keep it out of the 100 point class, pin striping, and fender flair chrome covers. The engine is not #correct having been replaced. All records since new. Watch Jaguar reveal the C-X17 Concept live, right now!
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Jaguar is set to reveal the C-X17 concept crossover in just a few short moments. The show starts at 11:00 AM EST, which is supper time in Frankfurt where the reveal is taking place. It's almost lunch time here on the East Coast of the US, so enjoy your sammy and a bag of chips while you sit back and watch Jaguar show us all some new technology and possibly an entirely new direction for the brand. Jaguar 3 Series-fighter to spawn coupe, wagon
Wed, 25 Sep 2013With its sights set on the BMW 3 Series, Jaguar could be planning a full range of models for its upcoming entry-level car - possibly called the XS. We've already seen spy shots of the four-door version of this all-aluminum baby Jag, but according to Auto Express, the automaker will also offer the car in coupe and wagon variants.
The XS sedan should hit the market in 2015, and the coupe and wagon models are expected soon after that. Speaking with Jag's global brand director Adrian Hallmark, AE says that the XS will be focused on styling with a design similar to the recently introduced C-X17 crossover concept. Hallmark also said that the addition of the XS lineup could help Jaguar double its sales, which were at 357,773 global units in 2012. Say goodbye to Jaguar's vestigial oval grille
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Jaguar has been on a campaign to replace any and all retro cues with modern ones. Just look at the current XJ and the one it replaced, or the XF and the S-Type that came before it and you'll know what we mean. The one remnant is the XK and its oval grille, in and of itself a throwback to Jags of old (which started to look more like a certain Star Wars alien in above-pictured XKR-S form). But don't expect it to hang around.
Newer Jaguars have been ditching the oval aperture for a more squared-off one, and the next XK will have to fall in line. But don't expect that to be the only change in store for the next-generation Jaguar coupe and convertible.
With the new F-Type now holding the more enthusiast-oriented ground, the next XK is expected to grow bigger, softer and more luxurious. That will likely mean a more commodious back seat as well, though that shouldn't be hard to do considering the lack of space in the back of the current model...
