Looks like $48000, just $42600 cheaper. Budget snob appeal. Be a snooty so-and-so on the cheap. Accident free Carfax. Very clean body, only blemishes are chips on front panel under bumper. Inside good, one surface wear spot on driver seat. Everything except navigation and it all works. What does it need? We need to address cold-blooded first minute of operation, O2 sensor light, RF inside door panel snapped back on, power antenna killed at car wash. Th-th-th-that's all, folks! We will fix or knock off the price. Truly an elegant car that is a 4.0 V8, leather, full power, moonroof,
alloy wheel, climate control sedan. Easy maintenance on Ford constructed Jag-yew-arrs. One up the neighbors for the price of a Corolla. Sorry, only one at this price point. Excellent cars fully serviced by our experts to the most paranoid's satisfaction. Experience? We've been in used imports since 1966. We sell 2 1/2 times the national average for repeat and referral-we must do something right. Members of Better Business Bureau. Mechanic's inspection welcome. Free Carfax upon request. E-mail or (better) call toll-free 888-676-6352 or (best) come visit. Thanks

2014 Jaguar F-Type
Wed, 17 Apr 2013Stepping Into The Lion's Den With A Big-Hearted Cat
If you're like me - and our demographics suggests you are - you've probably never seen a new Jaguar sportscar at your local showroom. I'm 36, and it hasn't happened in my lifetime... and not by a little bit. Oh, there have been a string of XK coupes and convertibles, and as of late, there have even been some genuine high-performance specials - namely the R, R-S and R-S GT models - but their basis has always been the 2+2 grand tourer shell, not a lighter and smaller footprint with more intrinsic sporting intent. The truth is that it's been a half-century since Jaguar introduced a proper new sportscar. Today, most people know the brand strictly as a purveyor of wood- and hide-lined luxury sedans.
In fact, if you're not an enthusiast with some appreciation for the marque's history, it's a bit odd to hear Jaguar executives proclaim that they are a sportscar company and always have been. By their reckoning, the 2014 F-Type seen here is in fact a return to form, a Rip Van Winkled brand pillar reanimated and reimagined to take center stage. It's a sentiment that must be particularly odd for car shoppers in developing markets like China, where Jaguar hasn't even been selling cars for very long. Yet because the original 1961 E-Type is perhaps the most gorgeous car ever to lay ply on the world's roads, we're prepared to cut them some slack.
2014 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake is one hot hauler
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Oh look, another super-hot wagon that won't be making its way to the US. Awesome.
Actually, in all honesty, it really is awesome. Meet the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, a red-hot (or blue-hot?) version of the rakish XF wagon that originally bowed at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2012. The formula here is pretty much plug-and-play: take the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 from the XFR-S and shove it in the wagon body, and add all of the necessary visual flair fitting of a properly powerful Jag. The end result is an estate that packs 542 horsepower, 502 pound-feet of torque, and the ability to sprint to 60 miles per hour in a scant 4.6 seconds. Meow.
This Jaguar joins a growing segment of ultra-hot wagons in Europe, rounded out by offerings like the Audi RS6 Avant and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG longroof - the latter of which you can actually buy in North America. Sounds like the sort of comparison test we'd love to facilitate. Guess we'll have to leave that to our friends at Autocar, though.
Jaguar's first-ever Super Bowl ad to feature F-Type Coupe
Sun, 10 Nov 2013Patrons of this year's Los Angeles Auto Show will be able to get their first glimpse at the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe, but the new hardtop sports car will be shown off to an even greater audience in early February. No, we aren't talking about the Chicago Auto Show - we're referring to the Super Bowl. Jaguar will debut its first-ever Super Bowl ad during the second half of the big game on February 2, 2014, and the sleek new F-Type Coupe will be the star.
According to Jaguar, the ad campaign will pose the question, "Have you ever noticed how in Hollywood movies, all the villains are played by Brits?" And for all you social media mavens out there, Jaguar will launch a specific hashtag to go with this marketing: #GoodToBeBad.
British director Tom Hooper is responsible for the ad, which is being filmed in London. Americans will get their first glimpse at the campaign this weekend in the first spot, called Disruptor, but the big F-Type Coupe spot will not air until Super Bowl XLVIII in February.
