1992 Jaguar Xjs V12 Convertible Show Room Cond. 45000mi. 2nd Owner All Original on 2040-cars
Cadiz, Kentucky, United States
I have owned this car since 1995,I bought it from the original owner for a gift to my mother who passed away years ago,she was very particular and took very good care of it,it has never set outside always kept in a heated garage. She was a non smoker.Since then I have kept it in my heated and cooled ware house that I have recently sold and now it is in my garage and I have decided to sell it from lack of storage space.I have always thought I would kept this car and never sell it but I guess not.I have changed the oil regularly and kept it serviced but never hardly ever drive it.It has the original paint that still looks new and so does the cloth top and interior, all door moldings and rubber gaskets still look new,no rust or door dings.Runs great and transmission shifts good but the tires need replacing due to setting in the ware house, they are michelin tires with good tread, the passenger power window is not working but was the working fine last time I moved it,the check engine light is on and that too is recent, the power antena works sometimes and it been like that for a long time. The stereo and all other electrics work fine.I really would like to see this car go to a good home to someone that likes Jaguars as much as she did!Call or e-mail me anytime and Thanks for Looking,Glenn 270-350-6610

Jaguar F-Type Project 7 takes the D-Type to the 21st Century
Sat, 16 Aug 2014One of the many big name debuts during the 2014 Monterey car week is this, the Jaguar F-Type Project 7, a stunning roadster inspired by Jaguar's legendary, finned D-Type sports car.
The Project 7 expands on the already appealing F-Type Convertible formula, further boosting the Jaguar Land Rover 5.0-liter, supercharged V8 to its most potent form yet - 575 horsepower - making this the most powerful production Jag in history. So equipped, the Project 7 is more cheetah than jaguar, roaring to 60 miles per hour in a rapid 3.8 seconds before reaching its electronically limited peak speed of 186 miles per hour.
Prices for the F-Type Project 7 start at $165,000, with customer deliveries slated begin in spring of 2015.
Motor Trend pits Aston V12 Vantage S against Jaguar XKR-S GT in battle of the Brits
Fri, 20 Dec 2013With the recent increase in higher-performance versions of already high-performance vehicles, like Mercedes-Benz and its AMG Black Series, the public is now gaining even greater access to speed and maneuverability. Two of the most recent sports cars to get their wicks turned up include the Jaguar XKR-S GT and the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S.
Both of these cars are the pinnacles of their lines, with the Jag lording over the XKR-S, XKR and XK while the Aston rules over the standard V8 Vantage S and V8 Vantage. Motor Trend has opted to pit the two rivals together for some thorough testing, and it just happened to bring along a few video cameras to capture all the action.
There's nearly 19 minutes of super hot sports car action below, so scroll down and enjoy.
Jaguar XFR-S pitted against Mercedes E63 AMG
Wed, 21 Aug 2013It was Steve Sutcliffe at Autocar who got the tough job of comparing the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG to the limited edition Jaguar XFR-S on the track and sheep-strewn British B-roads. In UK spec both Mephistophelean sedans wrangle the same 542 horsepower, but step out of the corral and things look to weigh heavily in the Mercedes' favor: it has more torque, it's lighter, it's quicker from 0-to-60 and it's less expensive.
But that's on paper. Sutcliffe was given the job to see what effect all those letters and numbers had on the real-world driving experience. One of them is "an absolute hoot at the track" with great steering and weight management, one is "magnificent." To find out which is which, watch the video below.
