Woburn, Massachusetts, United States
Beautiful custom 2003 Jaguar XK8. XKR badging and custom bodywork. Racing louvers on hood, sculpted wheel well fenders, integrated spoiler on trunk. Car has 25, 138 original miles and the custom interior looks and smells brand new. All trim has been painted red for a sport look and the radio has been replaced by a Pioneer radio/navigation/rear camera setup. $5000.00 custom 21” wheels with Falken GR tires fill the wheel wells for a custom show car look. Turns heads everywhere with comments that it looks like a custom Maserati or its cousin the Aston Martin DB7. Own a beautiful custom car that stands out from the crowd by JAGUAR that is original and not just a kit car. Custom, throaty awesome dual exhaust. Great sound. Title shows salvage/lemon law but this was a problem in California. The previous owner fixed the title and sold to me with a clear title. I have a clear Massachusetts title and Mass has one of the strictest RMVs in the country. Truly a one-of-a-kind car. |

Has the Jaguar XKR-S Sportbrake leaked out early?
Sun, 23 Feb 2014Want to haul ass down the Autobahn with the whole family and all their gear in tow? Forget that Porsche Cayenne or Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 - what you'll want is a power wagon: something like an Audi RS6 Avant or Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Estate. Unfortunately there are precious few of these performance station wagons on the market anywhere, especially with American offerings like the Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon on its way out and the Dodge Magnum SRT8 long gone. But there's a new challenger emerging.
That'd be the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, a hi-po estate from Coventry that's been a long time in the making. And now it's apparently almost here. (Only by "here," we mean "there," as it's not likely ever to come to the United States.)
Apparently set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show is a Frankenstein-style cross between a Jaguar XF Sportbrake and XFR-S performance sedan, taking the best elements from both. From the former, that means the extended roofline that gives it the cargo capacity of a small crossover. From the former, that means a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 producing 542 horsepower and 502 pound-feet of torque, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Autocar compares new Maserati Quattroporte to Jaguar XJ
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Autocar's Steve Sutcliffe took the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte on a spin along snowy mountain roads to test it for a specific brief: as a limousine for the chauffeured class. It's sporting credentials are impressive: Twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8, 532 horsepower, 475 pound-feet of torque in casual circumstances that rises to 532 lb-ft in overboost, a 0-to-60 mile-per-hour sprint of 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 191 mph.
However, citing Maserati's desire to not just increase its sales to 50,000-per-annum by 2015, but to sell many more of its cars in China, Sutcliffe wanted to find out if the livery side of the Quattroporte could match its sport sedan side. So after taking the pilot's seat and trying out the sport settings, Sutcliffe hops in back to test out the CEO's seat.
Then he compares the Quattroporte against the long-wheelbase Jaguar XJ with its supercharged V8, a sedan that's 15,000 pounds less expensive than the Maserati. It doesn't take long for him to find that one of them is a clear winner when it comes to transporting VIPs. To find out which one, enjoy the video below.
