In 2004, Jaguar produced 200 limited edition XKRs. 100 were in Jupiter Red and 100 in Coronado Blue. These cars came with matching Recaro sport seats, Saeple Bronze wood trim and almost all options Jaguar offered on these exclusive editions. It has a 4.2 ltr Supercharged engine that puts out 390HP and gets this sleek cat up to 60mph in 5 sec. Some say this is one of the most beautiful models Jaguar has produced since the highly collectible XKE. This edition is destined to also be a classic that will increase in value due to the limited number that were made. Once Jaguar produced the 100 models in red and blue, they permanently retired these two paint colors. As the sun hits the metallic paint, it changes from a vibrant red to a beautiful flame red/orange. This car has almost all the options Jaguar offered in 2004, Navigation, 10 Disc CD Changer, Brembo brakes, Sport pedals, headlamp washers, fog lights, heated memory seats, tilt steering, rear parking sensors, cruise control, Alpine Stereo - everything works perfectly as you should expect on a car with this low mileage. This particular car also has a rare aftermarket windscreen that makes top down motoring a comfortable experience without wind buffeting and noise It also has a Mina Gallery free flow intake that bumps the HP to over 400 but the original air box comes with the car. Now is your chance to become the steward of this remarkable automobile. There are so few available you seldom see them - don't let this cat get away!

2014 Jaguar F-Type, Project 7 Concept snarl in Jay Leno's Garage
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Jay Leno gets to drive a lot of nice cars, and the Jaguar F-Type V8 S he pilots in the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage is no exception. Eric Johnson, vice president of Jaguar Western Region brought the car to Leno's garage, which impresses the comedian with its 5.0-liter V8 that makes 495 horsepower, 460 pound-feet of torque and a muscle car-like roar.
But there's a surprise this episode: Leno secured a drive in the Project 7 Concept at Pebble Beach this year, and the experience was caught on video. Based on the F-Type, the Project 7 is a functional concept car that nods to Jaguar's seven wins at Le Mans and features bespoke styling cues, a special exhaust system and, perhaps most importantly, 50 more horsepower from the supercharged V8.
Watch the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage in the video below. You'll need a little over 23 minutes to see the whole thing.
Evo pits Jaguar XKR-S vs. Mercedes SL63 AMG in heavyweight droptop fight
Wed, 12 Mar 2014We recently received the sad news that the Jaguar XK is ceasing production by the end of the year, but what better way to bid it farewell than with some big, smoky powerslides? The retirement of the sporty GT isn't actually the topic of the latest video from Evo - it's on hand to compete against the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG to see which is faster around a track. Still, we can think of it as a wonderful sendoff for the Jag.
Both convertible grand tourers get their laps around the course, and they couldn't be more different. Driver Jethro Bovingdon gets some grins out of them both, but absolutely giggles while behind the wheel of the XKR-S convertible. The SL63 AMG is the more powerful of the two, but as we know, that doesn't always matter at a racetrack. You'll just have to scroll down and watch the video to see which of them is actually the winner.
Jaguar C-X17 resurfaces in China with gold finish, five-seat cabin [w/video]
Sun, 24 Nov 2013Some concept cars make the rounds of the auto shows and are then retired. But a number of automakers are showing that a fresh coat of paint can go a long way towards rejuvenating a show car and giving it a new lease on life - at least as far as the auto show circuit is concerned. Lexus did that recently with the LF-LC concept, initially unveiling it in red at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, then repainting it a dark shade of blue for the subsequent shows in Australia and LA. Mini did the same with the Rocketman concept. And now Jaguar has done it again with its C-X17.
Initially unveiled in electric blue at the Frankfurt Motor Show, Jaguar then rolled the crossover out again in liquid silver for the Dubai Motor Show earlier this month. Now the concept is back again at the Guangzhou Motor Show in China with a fresh coat of rose gold.
Looking decidedly more luxurious than the previous iterations, this gilded C-X17 concept also bears another change: while the previous versions featured a four-seat cabin, this one has been redone with a more conventional five-seat configuration that more buyers would likely go for. It's also got a new interactive infotainment system and another system that warns passengers of pedestrians or cyclists approaching from the rear before they open the door. Check it out in the high-res image gallery above and the video clip below for a closer look.
